Our friend referred us here for the best country breakfast in the Santa Ynez Valley. It was very savory. We ordered chicken fried steak with eggs over easy and biscuits with gravy. This was breakfast heaven on earth. Very tasty and filling.Basically it's a haven for the locals located off the beaten path, and well worth tracking down. Also very... More

Leave your attitude at the door, this is a great place! Fabulous breakfast and wonderful people! It is not a large place and is not fancy, just GOOD!

Rustic location in Old Town Santa Ynez. Serves Breakfast and Lunch only - closes at 1:30 pm every day. Good food and a very nice lady greeted us. Check out Oprah, the 40 lb cat - she's a trip. Worth looking for if you're off the beaten track heading north or south through Santa Barbara County.

Loved this place! Friendly, helpful service and enormous portions of great food. Walls are covered with fascinating photos and cowboy paraphernalia. Only slightly disturbing thing was the sign promoting Trump that was displayed at their reception desk!

I didn't like this place. We had to get our own menus and when we ordered the people who came after us got their meals before us. Two eggs, bacon and pancakes was $9.50. Pretty much everything was that price. It was not good and nothing noteworthy about this place. Spiderwebs and someone who worked there was feeding the birds,... More

My breakfast was mediocre. I had the special that was not anything special at all. The service is good.

This is a good, local café. Unlike the places down the road in Buellton, this is not a tourist place. It's good local fare. The chile omelet was quite good. It comes with potatoes and toast. Just about $10. The chicken sandwich was good, grilled chicken. The side salad was a good one with a good mix of greens. This... More

We are on our way from LA to Big Sur today and needed to stop for breakfast. I found Longhorn on Trip Advisor and it had good reviews and was only 1 mile off our course. Boy am I glad we went here! Family owned with attention to detail. We felt welcomed and special thanks to our waitress and the... More

We stopped in on a whim to kill some time and have a cup of coffee. It has a delightful low-key vibe, filled with locals and regulars, but the staff was equally friendly to us as visitors. Although we had planned for just coffee, the breakfast menu was far too tempting, and all of our food was delicious and quickly... More

Its a cute little diner on the edge of Santa Ynez. Very western in feel. I've eaten here a few times and each item I purchased, or my guest purchased came out quickly, hot and very yummy. Nothing fancy. It's cowboys and construction workers and locals. Good prices and selection as well.
