We stayed at the Santa Ynez Inn right next door. Unfortunately the Vineyard House restaurant didn't measure up to the high standards of the Inn. Food was ok, but not special. I had the pozole starter, which was good. Then the snapper special on risotto, which was not so great. I'm sure they have better nights, but this was not... More

My parents, daughter and I stopped here for a late lunch one day. The meal was delicious and huge. We had enough left over for dinner that night. We were served quickly despite the time of day. Plus, it was fun to sit outside on the patio and watch the sleepy street out front.

Larger variety of tasty eats. On a nice day it is really nice to sit out on the deck. I've always gone at lunch time and there is a good variety of soups, salads and great sandwiches/burgers

The Vineyard House is a lovely place to have either a causal meal or a wonderful fine dinning dinner. Everything about the place is nice. It is clean, there is sitting inside and out. The staff is kind and knows their menu. There is often a fresh fish on the menu and if I were you I would have that.... More

Just the ambience was worth coming. Service was fine, my dinner was excellent (Sea Bass special) gf's salmon was ok but the whole night was a great experience, wine list didn't kill your budget. And the evening was a great success!

We were here in Jan., and I wrote a review stating I would give this restaurant 4.5 stars, if possible. Well, tonight our dinner was perfect, the ambience was perfect, and the view of the Santa Ynez Valley from the spacious deck was perfect. A slight breeze whispered through stately trees that shade the deck as we enjoyed the best... More

Visited Vineyard House on a recommendation from our motel desk for a good romantic spot and were not disappointed. Beautiful setting on the patio and were seated right away despite not having reservations. Excellent selection of wines, we stared with a nice bottle of a local Merlot. Shared a nice bowl of tomato bisque served with honey wheat bread. My... More

Stopped here after a day of visiting vineyards. Host was a bit obnoxious I think he thought it was charming! Can't vault the location beautiful deck with a soft summer breeze. Shame the pizza came on a base that came out of the frozen food isle. Toppings were plentiful and lots of basil which made it smell fresh but the... More

My wife and I were staying in Solvang for our anniversary and decided to get out of town for dinner. The Vineyard House is an old single story Victorian house converted into a spacious dinning area along with a gorgeous patio section. Being old fashioned I got the Char broiled burger and it was awesome. Much better than I've had... More

Before going to the PCPA, it's wonderful to have a lovely relaxing meal at The Vineyard House. Sitting outside on the patio on a warm summer day sipping wine and eating a well prepared meal is a delight. Treat yourself!
