Have always enjoyed the Creekside buffet and they've improved the range of food available. The carvery had prime rib, brisket and ham all available on the same night and the 'alternative' hot foods were tasty as well. More fresh vegetables and greens on offer and the desserts may have less range but the options available are yummy. Worth checking out... More

This is an excellent buffet. The choses of food available was what we were looking for in a buffet. It was presented nicely and the buffet area was very clean. The atmosphere was pleasant and service was efficient. We would eat here again. It was worth the $29.95 price tag.

Have been to Solvang may times and eaten in lots of local places, but on this latest trip when I was talking about a casino about 4 miles east of town, I never thought they'd ask about a buffet ! I have never been inside the casino, and had no knowledge of what was offered. However, the next day I... More

Okay, so it is $29.95 per person for dinner, minus $1.50 discount with your player card. I gulped, paid the bill and wasn't expecting much but was I ever surprised! The buffet is totally upscale now. The food elegantly and expertly prepared and presented and high quality ingredients everywhere you look. I had a little of everything. The italian sausage... More

Went here looking for So. California Casino Buffet. This one is not worth the money, even with discount. The Sushi rolls were made like California rolls (Imitation Crab) with a few small garnishes on it. The rice was old and shiny hard. They did have a mussel shooter that was very good. The Tuna Poke was bland and grayish in... More

The food was average in taste and quality and very few customers.... The price is horrible but they have you trapped as far as food as it is a distance from town and the cafe was no longer there. I"d probably eat in town before I go out there if it is near a meal time.

We wanted something to eat and they have not reopened the café since they began renovating so it was either The Willows (very pricey) or The Creekside Buffet. Because it was a holiday the price per person was $34.95 with a 5% discount. There wasn't one item that I can say was delicious that day. OK maybe the ham. Desserts... More

The meats are smoked using something that just didn't taste good to me and that's my favorite station at a buffet. The selection was outstanding...every type of food you could want. Shrimp and crab were very good.

I just had Thanksgiving dinner at the Chumash Casino Creekside Buffet, which just reopened three days ago. I was overwhelmingly surprised by the improvement which I would compare to hog end Vegas or Atlantic City casino buffets. The buffet is considerably more expensive than the previous one but the quality and upscale food selections make it worth it. My selections... More
