There's nothing like walking into a cafe, where you are greeted with a smile and an aroma of fresh baked bread and pastries. In a country setting, there is an quaint elegance and it's always lovely to enjoy their large cups for lattes, while reading a paper. Some of my faves are their quiches, breakfast dishes and the Salad Nicoise... More

I was told of this restaurant shortly after it opened by a friend of mine, and decided to take my puppy PitBull to the patio and enjoy breakfast. French Press coffee - oh, my goodness! Gorgeous. Rich, dark, real cream, real sugar .... and my mouth was alive and awake and wanting more. I ordered a croissant - the thing... More

Excellent bread and pastries. Especially loved the almond croissants--shatteringly good. Decent cappuccino also.

We were very pleased to find this little gem in Santa Ynez -- a bakery that serves freshly baked goods, fresh coffee and juices, and breakfast and lunch. It is difficult to describe the variety of wonderful breads that The Bakers Table produces. Suffice to say that some of the area's best restaurants purchase their breads here. The meals are... More

3 times a week, I go just for coffee (red eye, double shot). Periodically, I go for breakfast (usually the weekends). Always something different. Always pleased. This past weekend, poached eggs on toast with Applewood bacon. All smiles.

Went for a light breakfast but what a treat! The best almond croissant I've ever had. They have a marvelous bakery, eevrything done in house. As well as some light fare, eggs, granola with yogurt and fruit, etc. A must try for something quick. It is a favorite with the locals. Very warm and friendly atmosphere, kids and pet friendly.... one of my favorite spots for breakfast and lunch! I love when they have smoked salmon lox at breakfast. They have great cappuccinos and are accommodating to children.

It's fabulous! They bake their own - perhaps that says it all. We enjoyed a turkey and brie panini, warm and gooey. It's served with a salad of baby lettuce with a light vinaigrette dressing. It's a small dining room, with a few additional tables outside. Farmhouse look, quiet and calm. Place your order at the counter and a server... More

A quaint off the beaten path place where the owner's right there to talk to you about what's new. Great service and good food. Maybe hard to find if you're not familiar with Santa Ynez. We even got a few tips on how to make quiche.

REALLY tasty, baked on the spot items. A cool, casual ambience. Out of the way location makes it NOT busy but worth looking for!
