Where to start. Well, it had a promising start, seated outside and given a little taste of their house Merlot. I don't know about you, but when I order house wine, I don't expect to be paying $12/glass. And it was. But, I didn't know...that until the end of the meal. Ordered wood-fired veggies. They arrived after about 25 minutes. It was some broccoli, cauliflower, a couple of carrots and the top of a green bell pepper complete with stem. Bland and unimpressive. Next arrived the mushroom gnocchi. A small portion in some kind of flavorless mushroom juice and the gnocchi were stuffed with mushrooms. Very average. Then we waited. And waited for the pizza. When it arrived it was toasty dark on the outside and cold. Cold. We waited over an hour for cold pizza. And returned it, asked for the check, and then saw that the nice house wine was $12/glass. Should have gotten the name-brand wine for $9/glass. The best part of the meal was the young talented singer.More

We had a casual family party here the day after my son's wedding. Owner Ray D'Argenzio was the perfect host, serving up excellent pizza, pasta, prosciutto-wrapped asparagus, along with a couple great bottles of D'Argenzio wine, and a platter of sugary zeppoles for dessert! Service...was wonderful and the food was delicious (especially the ravioli!) Thank you, Ray, for being so charming and accommodating!More

Excellent pizza. We had 4 pizzas and they were all very good. Nice variety on the menu or design your own. Service was excellent. Usually not very crowded. Plenty of parking.

Pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven and more selections. Beer and wine available. If you're attending the monthly comedy night at the nearby D'Argenzio Winery, you can get CRP's food delivered to your table!

Ate here recently and loved the pizza. We had the limona arugula and shaved Parmesan on an olive oil and lemon infused crust. Outstanding! The fava bean appetizer was delicious as well. Much of the wine is the diargenzio label ( yes I spelled it...wrong) the sin at 39$ was a bit pricey but it is a pretty good zin. Ray the owner is great! Gave us tastes of a great cab and a Sangiovese. Made us feel very welcome. Down to earth man. Service is friendly and efficient given how busy they were. The decor is great. Very Italian lotsa wood and photos of some of the iconic greats ( Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe). My only complaint is the leather chairs are uncomfortable. They sit too low and are ergonomically " off". That said we loved this place and definitely will return.More

Visiting from SWFL and recovering from the emotions of Hurricane Irma threatening our home, we were quite pleased to walk in and find a very pleasant atmosphere....cozy and comfortable. Alana, our server, was quick to bring us our menus and take our drink orders. The...D'Argenzio winery is next door and their wine was prominent on the beverage list. We ordered the Zinfadel and were quite pleased with it. We ordered the wood fired pepperoni pizza and added mushrooms and green peppers to the toppings. We also ordered an arugula salad that came topped with crisp fried prosciutto, a balsamic dressing and shaved parmesan. It was delicious. Ray, who we believe is the owner, came by with a sample of their newest creation......pizza with a corn salsa and spicy peppers on top. It was light and spicy and very, very good! Our pizza arrived and it had a wonderful thin crust and was loaded with the toppings we had ordered. Quite thoughtfully, Ray brought us an apertif of vermouth infused with 20 different organic herbs on the house since we had dealt with the trauma of Hurricane Irma. He also recommeded the creme brulee with a swizzle of espresso on top for dessert. It was amazing! The custard was creamy and the espresso added a zing of flavor. All in all, we were very impressed with the food, service and atmosphere.More

I had a late lunch here after arriving in Sonoma. We sat outside and started with a glass of wine and a shared salad. The salad was very tasty. We shared a pepperoni pizza, which was excellent. We then went to the wine tasting room...next door, which is related to the restaurant. You can also eat at the same food at the winery.More
