I've been to this restaurant three times and have never thought wow what a wine country gem. This was the last time. It's really too bad because the outside setting is very nice and the service was fine but for the quality and amount of food you get it's just way too expensive! I had the bacon waffle with the... Recently returned from California, this was the fourth time we ate at Zazu. When Zazu was a it's old location we first ate dinner there. It was awesome, we loved the zucchini fires, the burger and the trip through the garden. In 2015 we tried them out in the Barlow and ate lunch. Lunch was delicious. This year we have... More

Ordered 4 dinner (3 pasta and 1 friend chicken) with 2 drinks (non-alcoholic) were $160. Took awhile for the food to come out. Food was OK but the portions were very small. They were not very busy so I don't know why they took so long for the food to be served. Probably would not go back.

We had been to the old Zazu and really liked it. The new digs are a big upgrade but the menu is not as special or as pork centric as the old place. That said, we had a really good meal. Everything was well prepared and presented but just not as unique as what we had at the old place.... More

Outside this restaurant you see various types of sculptures or pictures of pigs, and it is clear this is going to be a pork dinner of some sort. What fun to decide what sort among the many choices. You can mix and match many small items such as bacon wrapped dates (the best), gazpacho, roasted beets, cheeses, etc. OR you... More

Was very much looking forward to this, but real disappointment. Arrived with a reservation with a service dog, and despite the California law, we were told we'd have to sit outside on the patio... It was 55 degrees - they said they'd put the heaters on, but took two reminders (and when they were on, they barely took the edge... More

I went to Zazu for the second time - this time taking a friend. We sat outside and the atmosphere was lovely. Our server couldn't have been nicer or more attentive. The food was fabulous and fresh - the bacon wrapped dates excellent - the salad very fresh and great dressing - my friends smokehouse special - loved it. I... More

Trendy restaurant specializing in locally grown foods and local wines. It is a meat heaven and specializes in bacon and other pork products. Everything was excellent. We started with a Sonoma greens salad -- interesting use of pink apples and pistachios in a salad. For our main courses, we had the "Octo Belly." This was pork belly with tender stuffed... More

We chose to eat inside but the restaurant still felt open. There is outside seating as well but it was too cool that night. Friendly service, good food, and good wine list.

Besides everything being totally the most delicious thing you have ever had including the meals for vegetarians! (try the pimento cheese!), they offer fresh baked pies that will be totally ready for you by the end of what is the most taste tantalizing meal you have ever had! Save room! Nothing beats a pie fresh from the oven
