Consistently good food!

I've been coming to Cattleman's all my life and even had many Birthday parties there over 50 years ago. This particular Cattleman's restaurant used to be owned by Hugh Codding and called "The Saddle and Sirloin". Their menu is great and most of the time it offers very good service . I've never... read more

We arrived early on a Monday evening to a nice welcome at Cattlemen's in Santa Rosa, CA. This restaurant is located in the Montgomery Village Center which also has many shops and other attractions. It wasn't a busy night so we were shown to our table immediately. We sat at a wooden western styled table in front of a warm... More

We moved away from Santa Rosa California about 14 years ago to San Diego. When we gone home to visit family, we love to go to cattlemen's. It's the best place to eat a really good juicy steak. Our family went there for my husband's birthday because his parents wanted to celebrate that with us so we all had such... More

Cattlemen's Pete's Special is a 10 oz. very tender sirloin steak. You get a family style salad, hot bread, baked beans, baked potato and a drink which can can be their house white or red wine or a house beer. The steak is tender and juicy. We also had the bacon wrapped shrimp as an appetizer and it was also... More

I have not had the opportunity to visit Cattlemens since my husband passed away 4 years ago, so when a friend from out-of-town called to say "Let's go to dinner" I immediately thought of Cattlemens. Things have really changed. 1. We sat in the bar area waiting for our table and were never asked if we wanted anything to drink... More

Great steak, great appetizers too. Good cocktails and good service. go on a Weds nite for the special, a sirloin with unlimited salad, warm sourdough bread and whatever side, i always get a loaded baked potato and the potato skins or shrimp skewer as the appetizer. The Burgers are great too. If not on a Weds, then I usually get... More

I suspect this restaurant has been in existence so long bc they offer steaks and potatoes... Very loud atmosphere and the portions....very mediocre and nothing exciting going on here. They figure I guess that everyone will accept being just a number and not realising there are far too many places to go where the food is not ordinary or really... More

Cattlemen restaurant is as the name suggests, a great place for steaks. Ours were perfect and very flavorful. I only wish I could rememeet the young man's name that served us. He made the evening perfect...great food, impeccable timing with wonderful service. Watching other diners, their experience was the same. Smiles and raves!

We were looking for somewhere to eat after being at the shopping centre and came across Cattlemens. We dined there and enjoyed so much we went back the next evening. We will be back next time we are in the US .It was very busy which is usually a sign of good food without the compromise of good service.

This " traditional" steak house offers a variety of steaks from ribeye to sirloin along with combinations including lobster, shrimp and Alaskan King crab. Dinner started with warm bread and a huge bowl of salad to share with dressing on the side. Our entrees came with a baked potato and steamed vegetables for my friend and Yes! grilled artichoke for...
