Happy hour is only available on Wednesday & Friday nights from 5-6pm but so worth it! It's so good, I want to keep it a secret.

Bistro 29 offers an eclectic and approachable menu with options to suit just about everyone. I am a vegetarian but most of my friends are not. This is a place we can all enjoy and I really appreciate that. The service is always spot on and the food is so delicious - I would eat here every day if that... More

Great authentic Brittany Cuisine. We loved the earthy goodness of the Buckwheat Crepes and the fresh food and wonderful combination of flavors. The setting is intimate and romantic. Having eaten at some of the best authentic creperies in France, this compares very highly.

This intimate setting is everything you would expect an artisan gourmet experience to be. The wait staff are professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. The menu changes frequently, but be advised, every option will exceed your wildest expectations. There were ten in our group and every single person was blown away by the presentation and quality of each course. I opted... More

This was by far one of the best restaurant meals we've ever had. The place is small and charming, but the food was amazing!

So many restaurants have occupied this site with many notables having dined throughout the forty plus years. Even Julia Child dined at Matisse. Now it's Bistro 29 and what a find! Well, Michelin obviously found it and the place has done very well. Of particular interest to us is their prix fixe menu offered Tuesday's through Thursday's. The menu changes... More

This is one of my very favorite restaurants. I recently went on a weeknight with three of my girlfriends to celebrate my birthday. We all had the prix fixe, and what a treat! A smooth and elegant shot of mushroom leek soup was offered as the amuse bouche; I could have eaten a bowl full! This was followed by a... More

Had a family dinner here. My first time but a place my parents go often. I really enjoyed it. Cozy, classy neighborhood restaurant feel. Small. Comfortable seating. Great, friendly service. Nice wines. Pris fixe menu and al a carte. Fresh bread and butter provided to the table. I started with a shrimp appetizer that was something of a twist on... More

We went here to celebrate a special occasion and were not disappointed! This is a tiny little place, but well worth finding. They celebrate Northern French cuisine, and it is spectacular. We started with the Foie Gras, which is hard to find on a menu in Northern California. It was very good. I especially liked the spice bread that came... More

Dropped in on a Wed. evening during a two nite stay in Santa Rosa and had a wonderful dinner. Attentive service, family atmosphere, friendly diners (locals sitting next to us). All our starters and entrees were excellent, especially the onion cider soup, brick oven chicken and steak frites. Prices quite reasonable and portions generous. Best meal we had in Santa... More
