This is wonderful French Bistro. Everything we had both nights we ate there was delicious. There's a midweek prix fixe for $29 from amuse bouche to dessert, extra for an accompanying flight. Don't miss it.

We went when it was first opening on a Groupon. Not really set up for kids. Good food rather trendy and pricey.

My wife and I had dinner at Bistro 29 last night. In a word "wonderful". From the first bite it was obvious that the chef cares about food. The preparation and presentation was on point. The flavor profiles of each dish we enjoyed made your taste buds dance. We shared the Green Garlic Prawns as appetizer. We also shared two... More

A cozy French Bistro in downtown Santa Rosa serving classical prepared French food. It's not much to look at outside, rather nondescript actually, but they serve classically prepared French cuisine and in some ways it's like being in Paris. We arrived a few minutes early for our Friday at 7:15 reservations after having lucked out on finding a parking spot... More

Lovely French Bistro with food that is deliciously prepared, carefully served and in a great location post-wine tasting. Just the perfect ending to a great day. House wine is so good that you don't need to go for the higher priced bottles, but the wine selection is excellent if you wish to go that route. Cassoulet has great depth of... More

Since this is a classic French bistro, I had the onion soup followed by steak frites. Both were very good. The soup was a slight variation from standard and very hearty. The steak was under and properly cooked. There was some confusion about the number of oysters that came as an appetizer - we ordered some after agreeing with the... More

A friend invited to Bistro29 for the mid week $29 4 course prix fixe menu (i don't know how the chef does it at that price)! The food was outstanding, I couldn't fault a dish and left full and very happy! I will be returning very soon to try the regular menu.

We went to Bistro 29 for a Restaurant Week dinner and shared 2 dinners. Fabulous meal. The carrot ginger soup was a star. Everything was delicious including the house wine. The service was excellent as well.

There is not w lot of selection on the menu, but if you like French food, you might like this place. I find the food to be consistently good. If y9u have dietary restrictions, the chef is willing to accommodate you. The staff is very enjoyable!
