Tasty Lunch Box im Bier Garten

I visited for the first time because of a lunch special I saw them advertise. Its set up like an indoor beer garden that serves limited pub food. The corned beef sandwich on pretzel roll was tasty with a large salad and small cream filled desert for $15. There was also a vegetarian option

At the nearby Charles Schulz museum they recommended the six of us come here for lunch (the Warm Puppy was closed on Friday). We were not disappointed. Excellent pastrami, spätzle, bratwurst (2 kinds), Schwabische potato salad, and strudel. Everybody raved. The service was also great. Get the pretzel

Our lunch at Franchettis’

We had a delightful visit and a delicious lunch at Franchettis’. The authentic German food was a hit with our party. We enjoyed pretzels, sausages, spaetzle, schnitzel, soup, pastrami…sehr gut!!! Our server, Gabby, was very busy, but was very attentive to our “needy” group the whole time. Thank you so much, we will return for more great food and hospitality!!

The pizza was awful

I was excited to try the wood fired pizza. I have been to this restaurant several times and I love the salads. Today I ordered the pizza with sausage, prosciutto and mozzarella. It looked delicious when it arrived. Nice and brown with a thin crust and plenty of toppings. The crust edge was not chewy, tender and fresh. It tasted tough and old. The sausage was weird. It was not a nice crumble of Italian sausage. It was dense pieces of something that did not taste like pork sausage. I would not order pizza at this place again. I was so disappointed. I was really looking forward to a good pizza.

Nice place, great food and service

Went on Thanksgiving day for a lunch and ordered from their special festive menu. We were promptly seated, service was very good. We enjoyed our choices of food - shared appetizer (Koffel Puffer + Lox), main courses Sauerbraten and Heritage Turkey, Espresso Affogato. And they are dog friendly 🐶😊. Good value for the price.

Great German Food

I ate here for the first time tonight during Sonoma restaurant week, and I'm glad I did. Authentic German food along with very good service. The salad with beets was great as was the schnitzel; large portions. I haven't seen a restaurant this busy in a long time.

Food very good. Waiter provided free entertainment with his ridiculous incompetence. We weren't sure if he was new, poorly trained, or ? If the former, wish he had told us so we could have been more sympathetic.

Been here a few times...pretty consistent every time!

To every foodie and traveler and local alike, this is the spot I can rely upon for solidly good quality food. There is the phrase that goes like this...wait for it.. "Never order the same thing next time, because it wont taste the same when you had it the first time. " Unfortunately, this was such the case of my mother who ordered their Dungeness crab louie salad today, and she said it was amazing the first time she had it here but it didn't quite get her tastebuds going this time Better luck next time. My Reuben sandwich was outta this world! They threw in an sausage, along with all the Reuben fixings on a beautiful soft pretzel roll..whaaaat? Finger licking good...and no these owners are not friends with Colonel Sanders of KFC....mark my words! The place ran out of salad so I got kettle criss crossed fries and a side of truffle garlic fries which were an mindblowing boatload of deliciousness! So as you can see below everyone had something different. My ex neighbors from way back in day of infanthood, who we met up with today had their large artichoke pizza to split, which looked mouthwatering. They both mentioned that they truly did enjoy the pizza, with much enthusiasm! They took the rest home to the others in the household. I left nothing to take home, other than a belly full of jelly and laughed with them til I cried. Sidebar, even though we had the corner table, it was still a little bit noisy...hard to hear other people at the table. Mind you we hit the restaurants busiest times right at lunchtime. We shut down the place right to the point of closing from the lunch and learned that they were setting up for dinner shift only two hours later. Yes we tend to shut down a place when we are with close friends. Catering is available for any occasion. Your home or anywhere. Didn't get that picture. Maybe next time I will have to add it to the restaurant's photo gallery. The restaurants owners are German. So that is why the phrase "gashaus" appears below the sign. Reservations are strongly recommended online or by phone. The staff is super sweet, and the manager and I had a lovely conversation over my crazy long last name and the machine was confused over my signature for payment. Lol! So funny! Anyway I am definitely coming back to this place for more tantalizing culinary cuisine moments that await me and my shenanigans whoever that might be. Check out the website online for more information and details about this place. So much to tell, not sure that I would have enough time or room to tell you everything. So see for yourself what Franchettis can do for you. Whether you just one meal or all three. They offer breakfast,lunch and dinner. Check for hours, etc. Parking lot may be a hard if you go at busy times. Remember that this place is closed on Mondays only. Otherwise, open. Bon appetit!

So very sad they got rid of almost everything Italian here!

This *was* a really nice place to get casual, fresh Italian-inspired fare. No more. If I ever decide I’m in the mood for German, (not sure when that’s gonna happen!) I’ll keep them in mind. Their “Gesine’s” in Anchorage, Alaska was FABulous!!! Wish they would do THAT! Sausage and fried stuff? Not so much...We will be trying the schnitzel, though.

Really loved that I could pick my salad fixings. And, prepared exceptionally, with my dressing perfectly coating the salad. Others ordered sandwiches and salads just the way they wanted them as well.

Co-Worker wanted to go here for lunch so we did, and glad we did! I had a good meal , we sampled everyone's dish since Franchettis is new to us. It is a little pricey for lunch but treat ourselves every other week. It's worth it.

Came here after visiting the Charlie Brown/Charles Schultz's museum. Very good food (not easy to find German food), full bar and has out door seating too. Easy parking.

Great lunch spot!

Hot news off the press! If you have not been here for lunch, you must stop here for both lunch brunch and or breakfast! My Rotary President neighbor meets with his cabinet for breakfast every couple of weeks at 7am sharp! Crack of dawn! But today we all met up for a lovely light lunch with former dental coworkers and friends! Four of us had the scrumptious Dungeness crab louie, one of the ladies had a special salad with grilled chicken and another friend had a special salad too. .But the best part was we had wait service for our table. Usually you have to get your own meal ordered at the counter inside. Delightfully inspired by German and Italian influences, with a few little pictures here and there. Gluten free items, vegan friendly as well as family friendly. If you have a reservation you are treated a lot better than if you don't. Reservations are welcome on yelp.com. The food quality is out of this world FRESH, FRESH, FRESH!!!Which I devoured. So many choices for everyone. Come early and stay awhile, and later. Such a wonderful day to catch up with friends! Seating is available for both indoor or outdoor. I will be back there again for sure! Enjoy!
