Go for the gumbo! This place has the best authentic New Orleans style cuisine anywhere west of Louisiana!! Where else can you get Okra and Ambiance like downtown Santa Paula.

The first day we had salads, with fantastic dressings and blackened chicken followed by sweet potato bread pudding! I am a sucker for some bread pudding, and this stood... More

Cajun and non-cajun food, plus great pastries make this tastefully - decorated and friendly-staffed restaurant a perfect place for any time of the day.

While the grits, which I usually love, weren't my cup of tea I loved the tomatoes and eggs. So delicious. Our whole party... More

If you want to have a very enjoyable meal in a great atmosphere and friendly staff then go no farther. In fact we came back to get some of their delicious red... More

Today I went back to Rabalais for the meatloaf dinner again. Very good both times. Bigger and better this time. For sides I had the baked sweet potatoes and collard greens. We sat on the front patio and had beignets for dessert. I also ordered a Anderson Valley Oatmeal Stout beer. If you like stout beer, give it a try.... More
