This place is located in the begging of the pier . If u are visiting on a weekend , expect long line . Food is great and u have an option when U purchase a drink , u can actually keep the cup for u , as a suvenir . Friendly staff . Highly recommended .
'Shrimp' of this size would be called 'King Prawns' in England. I was amazed by the huge portion of big, sweet, delicious prawns in various coatings - crispy coconut, tempura batter, crunchy crumb, as well as plain grilled - which were delivered to our table with some delicious dipping sauces and fries. On the Santa Monica Pier, iconic sea food restaurant that reminds the Forrest Gump Movie. Perfect location, choose your shrimps flavor and taste the Californian sea. Staff very gently (special mention to Nate, he serve us with the incredible smile! Turn back to Italy and visit us, asap!). Inside store. Recommended!!
Ok.....I know eating on the Santa Monica Pier is just about the most 'touristy' thing you can do but this place was great. My family of 6 have eaten at 'Gumps' in FL so we knew what to expect. The service was excellent the views were amazing. Every person got something different off the menu and it all was great.

We've had shrimp and seafood in many of these around the states and this one is as normal as part of the chain as the rest we have been to. It's good fare all in all, reasonable prices and service that is attentive.
Bubba Gump please come to Australia . Fresh food, huge menu, so difficult to make a decision. We arrived at 6pm and there was a 25 min wait on tables , so we sat at the bar. Bar staff were friendly and accomadation. Grilled Mahi Mahi was devine
What a location! Right on Santa Monica pier, and very popular. We were shown downstairs to beach level. The seafood was fantastic, but the staff were a little stretched keeping the patrons orders coming. All in all, it was a nice night and well priced. Tip - the servings are quite large so if you aren't a big eater aSK... More

We are coming over to the USA from New Zealand on 6 October and will be in Santa Monica on 7October. A friend told us we must go to Bubba Gump's restaurant when we are there as it is the best restaurant they went to in the USA.
Can we make a booking for 8.00pm on Friday 7 October for four adults please?
