Located on Ocean Bd - 5 mn from Shutters/ Loews and the Pier . I really found the food to be outstanding : lentil soup, hashed corned beef with eggs, but there were many more tempting choices on the menu ( with a hint of a Mexican flavor ?). Best and friendly service . Really beats all the restaurants or... More

We really enjoyed this place for breakfast. It was quite crowded so we needed to wait to be seated. It was worth it. Rest assured you will get a good meal here and the portion sizes are large. You will likely need to skip lunch!

We were staying opposite at the Viceroy and were recommended to this little caffe. We had breakfast here twice and it has become very popular with the locals. Most mornings we saw people waiting for a table. These guys serve delicious food and a very good selection on the menu. It is very good value for money and the service... More

When I'm in town for business I stay at a hotel nearby and have breakfast at Cora's. I'd like to say everything is good, but there are so many things on the menu that I've only had the chance to try a few of them. Love the huevos rancheros, the blueberry pancakes, and the bruschetta poached eggs. The coffee is... More

After a month abroad our craving for Mexican food was finally meet at Cora's. Great coffee, great pastries and jams too. Beautiful small outdoor patio covered by Bougainvilleas only makes it even sweeter.

We chose Cora's for breakfast. There were 5 of us and we had to wait around 15 minutes. They don't take reservations but you just write your name on a form and wait your turn. Worked pretty well really. Breakfast was good and service very friendly. I had a cheddar cheese and prosciutto omelette which was excellent and cooked just... More

The ambiance outdoors was nice, but that's really the only thing I liked about the place. The food was just okay. I found the prices to a be a little high. We went on a Saturday morning so we had a bit of a wait, which was to be expected. The coffee was cold.

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
