Nice Dining Environment

The environment is nice, they did a good job for being on the 3rd floor of a mall. One thing that as I’ve eaten here multiple times is it can be inconsistent with the service and food quality. Believe they’re newer so will figure it out but it’s a bit hit or miss.

Oh my gosh delicious food, great ambiance, great music..and great service. Had the best time. Had the lobster 🦞 linguine and friends had the chicken and pork chops and had nothing but good things to say. Will go again and recommend it highly.

Pleasant but Pricey

Nice setting and good service. Mussels with garlic bread were excellent though they could provide a larger bowl for the used shells. I'd rate higher if wine by the glass wasn't so outrageously overpriced. $16 for only 3-4oz of wine in a large glass.

Best Rooftop in Santa Monica

Loulou is located on the rooftop of the Santa Monica Place mall with stunning views of Santa Monica, ocean, and the sunset. I visited Loulou with my wife couple of weeks ago for dinner and we had a great time. We started our dinner with the onion soup and then shared the nicoise salad and lobster linguini. The pasta was delicious as well as the nicoise salad. They also have a beautiful bar in the middle of the restaurant which would be perfect for a drink or for happy hour. We will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic atmosphere and great cocktails

Stopped by for a drink and was really surprised with the whole atmosphere. DJ playing great music and obviously fab cocktails. Didn't have any food but food looked really good. Ezgi and Uriel were great so much so that Marvin the monkey 🐒 had his picture taken with Ezgi lol. Highly recommend this place.

Really nice place, prices not exaggerated but terrible service. Too much waiting and difficult to get the attention of the staff who are not attentive. I also found waiters very brazen about tipping at exaggerated levels. Very good food

I fell in love with this restaurant discovered by accident shopping in Santa Monica. I just came back from vacation in Greece and I thought I was back on vacation. They just opened last week. The food and service was amazing. My new place to go when I'm in the area !! Don't miss it

Great atmosphere and service!! Sat on the beautiful upper deck, nice music and vibe. The red Sangria was delicious with the Salmon entree!! So good! Victoria my server was so attentive!

Lots of potential, but some way to go

I asked French manager if they had Domain OTT as there was no OTT on wine list. Can you tell me that I did have Domain OTT and after he told me the price of it, I ordered a bottle. What turned up was ‘By OTT’ which is not the main nought and it’s from a different vineyard, and it’s about half the price to buy. We still had it, but it wasn’t very good. We ordered two glasses of champagne which were never delivered I ordered the seabass dish last, if it would come as fillets. The manager told me he would do that for me. The fish turned up with one entire side looking like half a whole fish and the other part in multiple pieces. My son prepared the other half of the fish for me properly, see photo. Right next to the our table were mops/sweeping brushes and a bin. Bin kicked regularly by staff and one of them kicked the entire lot over. Why do they have to position this right next to what is probably the best table in the restaurant? All the food was okay, although not good value. The French manager doesn’t work very hard, keeping the place going. They have only been running for eight months and there is plenty of potential for them to improve. The feel and the vibe of the restaurant is lovely.

Racist against teens

Came to this restaurant after my daughter’s film shoot to celebrate her new role in her upcoming movie to be turn away due to I had a teen daughter, was told very rudely no children very sad to be judge and to be discriminated

Fabulous roof top dining!

We had a perfect lunch today at LouLou. The food was absolutely amazing. The staff was awesome and the setting was perfect. Can’t wait to come back. Btw, try the Lobster pasta!

Beautiful atmosphere and pleasant decoration. Small lunch menu with starter/main course or main course/dessert for a very reasonable price compared to the surrounding area. Be careful, you have to pay for bread and it's not great... good pizza, good salads. This place allows you to escape from the noise of the city while gaining some perspective.

We came with three friends, the Loulou pizzas were not good: tasteless dough, thin, very salty. Accompanied by a glass of very tannic, watery Bordeaux. I am very disappointed despite having been recommended by friends!
