Stropped in while shopping the promenade - lured in by their "2 for 1 Happy Hour". We sat there for at least 20 minutes with no notice then finally after speaking with the bartender, ordered the drinks at the bar. It's a bit misleading: 2-1 is not buy one get one its two of the same exact drink or one... More

Good food not a big menu, but a lot of different margaritas to pick from. Waiters are friendly and I would go back for drinks

We stopped by for drinks before eating dinner at another restaurant on the pier. Drinks were good with the chips and salsa they provided. No complaints.

Great atmosphere, tasty food, all matched with friendly service ensured a top spot for lunch in the heart of Santa Monica. We had fish tacos and the chicken salad ( excellent ) with beers and cocktails. A young crowd enjoying themselves ensured a good time was had by all. Cheap and good value

This is a great place to hangout, watch some sport & chat with people around you. We went in because we wanted a margarita, which a lot of other people were drinking. We waited til 4pm, in which posters & pamphlets proclaimed "All drinks were 2 for 1". Upon asking the waitress, none of the big cocktails were included, only... More

Came here to kill some time after a semi long day of shopping along the 3rd Street Promenade. The place was buzzing & it was only 3:30pm! I think it was happy hour(s) so we ordered a bunch of the cocktail drinks and platters of starters. Chicken wings, nachos, quesadillas, etc. Stayed for a couple hours and then went back... More

Was here last year and made a point to go back this year when we made it to 3rd st. Love love love the margarita's and both times had a salad as well which was really good.

lovely service, grest atmosphere, best taco's (steak/prawn...) we ever had; great mega big cocktails; what we haven't liked was the deposit request to our credit card just after having ordered

We were in Santa Monica at the end of a business trip and we spent 3 days there. We visited Cabo Cantina each day. The beer was ice cold, the food was just right and the atmosphere was perfect. We only went during the days as the ice cold beer was perfect for cooling down. The staff were friendly, the... More

I don't know if this is a local place or a tourist place but i don't care. Their cocktails are extensive and tasty and massively oversized and i am not complaining. Their loaded fries are also a must. Easily could sit here for hours on a sunny afternoon drinking Coconut Margaritas! The waitresses are friendly and its not overpriced.

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
