Stayed at a hotel nearby, but wanted a more local feeling spot to eat.... Well, found this place on Yelp, and can't say enough about the food, service and decor. I still miss the Mexican Mocha Latte I had every day while in the area!!! All the food was fresh and fabulous. Not cheap, 50+ $$ for breakfast for 3...... More

Delightful end to our Santa Monica adventure, brunch and then off to the airport. Our server whose name I missid, was warm and efficient. He took not of our individual preferences and saw them through. Food was tasty, the people watching was great fun.

Really enjoyed M Street Kitchen. We parked in a garage next door which cost a few bucks. You can walk right to the beach if you want to see the sunset before or after dinner. Food and service were high quality. They have outdoor tables too (on the street).

My friend and I were at a training near by and walked over for a quick lunch. We sat at the bar where we had excellent service. I had the cucumber mint drink, and my friend had the strawberry basil refresher. We split the Brussel sprout salad and the delicious veggie burger, all of the food was incredibly fresh and... More

We had two fantastic appetizers here -- the ahi poke and chicken nachos. Our burgers and salad mains were just okay, but we did have a knockout side of Brussels sprouts. Worth a trip, but I would focus on side plates and apps.

We had the best breakfast of our trip to Santa Monica. Lovely sunny outdoor patio and great breakfast/ brunch selection. We tried the avocado toast, which is poached eggs, avocado, mascarpone on toasted muffin. And the three eggs with sausage. Both were delicious. The hash brown is the best we've tried. Service was friendly and relaxed. Definitely worth a try... More

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
