Enjoyed a nice dinner with friends here based on taking the unlimited small plate option with drinks for $49 ahead. This was a really nice way to go enabling us to try nearly all the dishes with unlimited good beers, wines a fun cocktails to boot. Some good dishes but nothing out of the ordinary compared to a wagamamas or... More

Zengo is an urban-sophisticated Latin-Asian restaurant with mid-range price points. It specializes in tapas meant for the table to taste and share, with its weekend brunch special offering unlimited small plates + bottomless mimosas for $40/person. Any desire I could want for from a Sunday brunch was appeased with my visit here. An assortment of palatable menu options and plenty... More

My husband and I had a deal voucher for Zengo and was quite satisfied with our experience. Although it's a tapas restaurant, their portions were generous enough. I would suggest you request an outdoor seat - LOTS of people watching. When you arrive, you take an elevator up to the restaurant. I think they need a better sign indicating you... More

Wandering with 2 sets of families in santa monica looking for a place to eat and happened on this place onto of the smo mall. Very warm welcome and seated inside on a long table.Freindly waiter explained the fusion style menu and recommended sharing which we did. The food came out at nice stages(not all at once) and it was... More

My husband and I dined at Zengo on September 6, 2014, for dinner. There is an outside dining patio as well as a large inside space with views of the shopping center. The food is Mexican-Asian fusion with a mainly tapas menu and about 7 or 8 traditional entree offerings. We opted to try the tapas and enjoyed most of... More

Picked this restaurant by chance. What an interesting menu. A variety of choices from tapas to main dishes. The four of us shared a calamari salad, tempura asparagus tacos, a crab/avocado dish, a polenta pork dish, edamame, sushi and a candy bar dessert. This is a very innovative menu from a creative chef. While some of the combinations sound unusual,... More

This was one of the best brunch meals I have had. This is not your usual all you can eat brunch setup. Zengo has a menu of dishes that are offered for the brunch. The portions are small but it is all you can eat and you can order as many dishes as you want for $39. So you do... More

Too bad more of the world doesn't "brunch" like Los Angelenos. We visited on a Sunday morning at 10am to an empty restaurant that was packed an hour later. We opted for the unlimited brunch which just be shared by the entire table. $39 for drinks and small plates and nothing disappointed! The waitress was always around filling our mimosas... More

I came to Zengo for a business dinner and we had a magnificent time! My colleague and I both got the unlimited zengo which we were able to have unlimited small plates, and unlimited drinks! We enjoyed so many of the options and drank several margaritas and had some excellent wine! We sat outside and had a lovely meeting. It... More

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
