We ended up heaving breakfast here twice during a shorter stay in santa Cruz and it was excellent on both occasions. There is always a queue, with requirement to putting your name down and waiting to be called, bit ourselves experience waste no more than...about 10-15 mins of waiting. Also note this is a cash only establishment (there is an ATM on site, though it charges $2 per transaction). We ended up having waffles, pancakes, TeX mex and cinnamon bun, all of which were excellent. Highly recommendedMore

Other Trip Advisor reviews were right on ranking this the #1 lunch spot in Santa Cruz! Decided to stop while driving on PCH 1. So glad we did. All home made food. Huge omelette with fruit or potatoes AND toast or cinnamon roll. Waffle was...huge in diameter. Thin, not Belgian, but excellent. Tuna melt with a side salad was excellent! Highly recommend this place! It’s a little drive (2 mi) off the highway but worth it.More

What a fantastic breakfast! I had the omelette with turkey breast, avocado, and cheese. All of the ingredients were quality and fresh. I was offered salsa, which I accepted. I think it was house made (chunks of green onion) and was so good! The food...came out FAST in spite of them being fairly busy on a late Saturday morning. The service was very efficient and friendly - we never had empty coffee cups or water glasses. And the cinnamon roll on the side (one of the choices besides toast with the omelet)-OMG! What a great local breakfast/lunch spot. Wished we lived closer!More

Amazing breakfast, incredibly kind staff! Rode bikes here and sat outside, had waffle, pancakes, Tex Amex special, eggs, OJ, potatoes. Everything was very good, the cinnamon roll and waffle were top notch. Can’t say enough about the kindness of the staff!

I was very impressed by this restaurant. Provided impeccable customer service. The corned beef and hash was the best I have ever tasted. I was told this place was known for its sweet rolls. Now I know why, they are unforgettably wonderful. Clean and plenty...of staff to help. I loved it.More

Visited this fabulous little cafe for the second time during a recent visit to California. The food is delicious, the service is good and it's well priced. Cash only, so remember to visit an ATM before you go, the one in the restaurant carries a...charge. Highly recommended breakfast spot in beautiful Santa Cruz!More

Linda's Seabreeze Cafe is a very good breakfast/lunch place with a homey atmosphere, huge portions of well-prepared food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. Each person in our party of four (2 adults, 2 teens) enjoyed their meals. I had the Florentine Omelette, which was stuffed...with sauteed fresh spinach, crisp bacon, and white cheddar cheese. The only issue I had was with the egg component, which had cooled off prior to service. Nevertheless, I polished it off with gusto. The highlight of this dish was the perfectly prepared spinach, which was juicy and flavorful. The sauteed potatoes were pretty good, though I would have preferred them to have crispier edges. Because the color was nice and brown, suggesting proper caramelization, I'm guessing that any crispness that had been present initially was lost due to steaming when the potatoes were piled up to the side on the grill to keep warm while other items were being prepared. Nevertheless, I gobbled them up after applying a generous dose of the housemade hot sauce. The cinnamon rolls are well-known for their buttery, flaky texture and warm, gooey, interior that is loaded with crunchy nuts. Others in our party were disappointed that my roll was not smothered in frosting, but I believe that would have detracted from the artisan quality of the pastry itself. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and the coffee was properly brewed. One detail that I appreciated was that fresh cream was provided in a small pitcher rather than having to peel off the cover of a plastic container of cream. My daughter enjoyed her grilled tuna melt sandwich and the hot, crisp french fries. Other dishes were entirely successful as well. I recommend this restaurant for hungry people looking for a quality breakfast.More

This was so delicious! We were there last week in the midst of covid, so all outdoor dining, they made the space feel cozy and warm....heaters and homemade fencing around the dining area. All staff was so friendly, specials menu looked delicious. I had the...Scrambler and he had the corned beef hash. We both chose a cinnamon roll as our side. It was all just the BEST! We make breakfast an event whenever on vacation...this was just so good. Also...100% good and safe Covid protocols were observed. Thank you!More

Very bad experience. I will never eat there again. My wife and I walked down to eat brunch. The hostess wrote our name and number down and told us it would be a 20 minute wait and we couldn’t stay there. We walked a block...away and got coffee and came back 15 minutes later. The same hostess walked up to us and asked if we needed a table and told us it would be a 20 minute wait. I explained to her that we had already put our name on the list. She started that they had tried to call us and there was no answer. She then stated that they should have a table available soon. My wife and I walked approximately 10-15 feet away from the roped off area and drank our coffee. The hostess came over and told us that we needed to have our masks on if we were going to stand there! I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAINMore
