Second visit for breakfast and both were disappointing. Fried polenta was apparently deep fried and dripped with grease with no flavor of polenta. Poached eggs made in cups; ok for home but really, in a French bakery? Fruit cup had peaches so unripe and bitter I thought they were apples. Only saving grace is awesome Stumptown coffee; too bad there... More

We were lucky enough to find this lovely cafe standing in the queue I asked a lady what she was eating and she said a Garden Burger so we ordered one each with a hot chocolate. Truly delicious and substantial! Made fresh it tasted so good.

Kelly's has it all. Meals, pastries, cookies, pies, coffee and tea. The pastries change and every time there I find new things to consider. Wish they had their poppyseed pastries more often. Cappuccino was great. My granddaughter always finds something new to enjoy here.

We like to have breakfast here. the food is good, they serve lunch as well. With the Santa Cruz weather it is nice to be outside in the morning having breakfast or lunch - or getting lunch to go down to cliff drive.

I commend them on their breakfast, however, their pastries left a little to be desired. We had high hopes for this place, as we were just happy to find a breakfast spot open on a monday! I give them higher marks for their poached eggs and toast (the fresh baked sourdough bread was yummy), which was fairly inexpensive. We ordered... More

We stopped here briefly for breakfast along our highway 1 trip. We got a special that was a crossiant with scrambled eggs, Gruyere, and ham. It was beyond delicious. The crossiant was better than most crossiants.

We had lunch here and the line was long. It was very popular with the locals. Delicious ice tea and sandwiches. I also loved their cole slaw. I wish I was not so full after eating because I would have loved to have tried the pastries.

We stopped in at Kelly's for coffee and scones. It was crowded with patrons of all ages. The pastries were tasty and the coffee was good. We saw two kids age about 10 order themselves a couple chocolate eclairs and two espressos. Fun atmosphere and you can sit outside too.

I am allergic to wheat, and the fish tacos recommended by the employee came breaded. I pointed this out to two employees, they talked to the cook who told them it was made with wheat flour. So I ordered a simple hamburger with no bun. They didn't know that the bun contained wheat flour. They also cancelled the other fish... More

Yesterday we had lunch at Kelly’s. A California scene, sit inside or out under the sun, pretty good access, and there are bakery products on display, cakes croissant's French bread endless items to have for dessert. We were in the area with teenagers looking at UCSC and this is in close proximity, also to a health store and other stops.... More
