Grew up in Santa Cruz but I unfortunately moved away long ago but when in town, as I am now, Eriks is at the top of my list for lunch. I love their sandwiches and will try to work my way through the menu during my stay. No need to have lunch anywhere else. Erik's has it all.

We were looking more for a coffee and snack but wasn't available, snacks that is. But the staff was very helpful and offered us alternatives so we had coffee and some very nice toast. If it was lunchtime we would have stopped again. Good stop.

Good sandwiches, good salads, non-fast-food type. Eat in or take out. You order at the counter, pay for your order and it you can pick it up when ready.

You order in a line and pick out your sandwich and salad and soup. The sandwiches were good. The soups looked old in their kettles as I stood in line to order. I ordered a salad and it was tasty. The service was great and fast. My kids liked what they got. Everything was served hot.

Service was fantastically quick. LOTS of choices on the menu so it was not an 'easy' pick. Glad I took my time. I certainly ordered correctly.... my sandwich was fantastic. I 100% will be eating here again on my next visit to SC. Fountain drinks are served in 'mason jars' for your cups.... nice classic touch.

I bought a sandwich here for my lunch the following day, while hiking at Ano Nuevo State Park. I had the turkey, bacon, avacado and lettuce sandwich. It was so-o good, I wish I had eaten there the night I had purchased it and gone back for a different sandwich for the next night's dinner. Whenever I'm back in S.C.... More

Warm atmosphere, fast and friendly service and food of great quality! Everything here is made from scratch, always us ng fresh produce and high quality fresh ingredients. Their soups are supposed to be simmered on slow fire and they boast of their family recipe for each and every dish, and they very well deserve it too!! They have soups, salads,... More

When I asked for a reuben sandwich, I was told that they microwaved it. This is not the way! The corned beef was fatty. I was told I had to ask for lean (?). Not a place I will ever return. I gave it a couple tries because it is around the corner from my doctor.

Don't go to Erik's expecting a New York or Los Angeles or Chicago-style DELI sandwich. Their bread SUCKS...like Wonder bread variety. It doesn't hold up to a hot meat sandwich. If I knew I HAD to eat there I'd take my own bread...like delicious corn rye (Trader Joe's carries a traditional Jewish rye with body). I was insulted when I... More

In the mood for a great sandwich? Try Erik's deli. Huge selection of sandwiches made while you wait and made to order. Salads and other items too. Take out or sit down.
