Regularly stop in for the shawarma and falafels. All good. Pricing reasonable. Fresh preparation. And a very congenial owner!

The price is good for the amount of food you get but wasn't overly impressed with the flavors. Tasted like a pretty standard falafel but nothing really gave it that extra kick that made me want to go back.

Savory dishes: the taste tells you the food is prepared daily and is fresh. Ambience is cozy, nothing fancy and ample room for small and larger groups.

I was walking around downtown Santa Cruz and came upon the Falafel House. Having spent some time in the Middle East, I was keen to try the place. Upon entering I was ecstatic to see that it was owned by Syrians. I recognized several of...More

This is the best falafel place in town, and a bit of a local secret. Great gyros, shawarma, pepper steak, and burgers too! And the fries - I don't know what they do - I usually avoid eating french fries but theirs are irresistible. They...More

Falafel should be crispy on the outside, and soft inside. Many places can't get it right. This place does, and has a nice menu and is a cute place off of Pacific Ave. Great for a cheap yummy Middle Eastern food fix.

...what more can you ask for? Only in a college town, something like this will thrive. Mediterranean/middle eastern flavours at an affordable price. The food is authentically prepared. I love the lamb combo plate. This was one of our go to places when we lived...More

I don't know why I don't come here more often, but my previous visit proved that I should put it at the top of my list. My gyro platter was simply amazing. I learned to ask for my gyro meat to be extra crispy. This...More

Possibly the worst falafel I have ever had. There are extras, but the falafel I have ever had, it was so dry no amount of hummas or dressing could help me swallow it.
