We had dinner at this restaurant and enjoyed our dining experience very much. Even though we arrived on a Monday night and were not expecting a very long wait for a table, the restaurant was very crowded (they don’t take reservations) and we had to...wait about 40 minutes for a table. By the time we were seated, the restaurant had cleared out and several tables were available, so we advise to arrive very early or later in the evening to get a table. We ordered the ceviche for an appetizer, and it was very good. Two of us had the grilled prawns, one ordered the rock fish, and one ordered the sand dabs. All of the food was excellent; appropriately seasoned, cooked just right, and served hot. The sides we ordered were also very good.More

We went there 3 times on our visit. The Perfect Manhattans were very good. We liked especially the mussels. The Tuna Ponzu was a little too hot- festooned with thin sliced fresh jalapena.

Pleasant setting in a shopping centre with outdoor seating and lots of parking. Huge selection of seafood options, with many daily features. The food is creatively prepared and delicious. Service is good. Lure is a small chain in SoCal and has been a very welcome...addition to the dining scene in Santa Barbara.More

Lure is located in a mall, which makes it very convenient to park and for shoppers to lunch there. It is beautifully decorated and definitely doesn't have a shopping mall ambience. Service was good the day we dined there, and the food was great. You...can't go wrong ordering anything featuring black cod. It's one of their specialties, one that you seldom find on the menu at other seafood restaurants. I enthusiastically recommend Lure Fish House.More

Having been to Lure in Ventura, we went to the SB restaurant on Valentine's afternoon. Clam chowder and crispy shrimp were tasty starters. My wife had salad with grilled rockfish and I had cioppino for entrees - both very flavorful and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the server...was not on his "A" game and this stopped us from reviewing this as Excellent.More

The food was very good, we ordered fish and chips and a fish entrée, both meals were delicious. We ate at the bar, we’d never been there before. Server was excellent also, suggested we try Lure in Scottsdale as well as we are from AZ.

Have been here several times. Very good seafood dishes at a reasonable price. This time I ordered grilled white sea bass with lime rice and house salad. One more thing, be careful of your credit card bill. I was overcharged last time.

Ordered Caesar salad. Came with: No cheese. No dressing. No croutons. I added chicken it was fine. I asked for dressing it came and was Italian. What a waste. My cocktail was great and I would stop for that and try an appetizer another time.

We did take out, and even after reheating some of the dishes at home it tasted amazing!! We are the calamari right away, and it was perfection. The perfect level combo of soft and chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The NE...clam chowder was so flavorful and creamy, and the squid ink lobster ravioli was to die for. Super rich but Ammmmmazing! We walked into the restaurant for pick up, and it was a nice and very inviting. Could dress up or be in regular clothes. The only thing I didn’t like was how the hostess pulled her mask down every time she had to talk to anyone and everyone. But the food, fantastic and fresh!More

This restaurant has very good seafood at lower than expected prices, making this an excellent value. The service was excellent (Sam), drinks were excellent too. The food is very well prepared; we had the grilled sea bass with crispy outer and tender interior, the sand...dabs, and the charbroiled oysters. All excellent. The oysters are served in the shell, broiled with garlic and parsley. Interestingly, we requested half a dozen, and were served nine oysters, perhaps because some were small. Well we aren't complaining! Oh, be sure to have the chowder as one of your sides; they're all excellent, but their chowder is quite good.More

I wrote a very positive review in 2017. Have been back 3 times since, All were very good experiences. This last time was truly exceptional. My wife and I had the crispy calamari and the cioppino. We shared both. The calamari was very tender, lightly...breaded and perfectly fried. The cioppino was fantastic. One of the best dishes I have ever eaten. The tomato bisque sauce was perfectly spiced and there was a very generous serving of white fish and shell fish. It was a beautiful day and we lunched on the patio. There is limited seating on the patio, so either arrive early or do as we did, arrive around 12:30 and get on the wait list. They will phone when a table is available. We waited about 25 minutes, but there is a Macy's and other shops to spend the wait time. They only take reservations for 8 or more.More
