We stopped at this little walkup place a couple of days ago just to get some drinks on a hot day, and were intrigued by the menu. So yesterday we decided to have a quick lunch there before we went to a matinee performance. Wow, what a great idea that was! I love a good carne asada burrito, and this... More

On Chapala just behind Paseo Nuevo shopping center, you'll find this unpretentious looking taqueria with seriously good food at reasonable prices. The corn tortillas are hand made, fresh and delicious. I had the carnitas tacos, which had a very generous pile of tasty and not greasy meat. After ordering at the sidewalk window you get a basket of fresh chips... More

I just had lunch there and had to rush back and write this review. Delicious and great service. It's a walk up & order at the window place with a patio and small inside. It looks like a hole in the wall but the food is amazing. I love finds lime this place. Great for locals and tourists. Central area... More

Absolutely top notch Mexican food prepared by people who know and love to cook. Fish and shrimp tacos are, without a doubt, the very best you will ever eat. Everything on the menu is superb. Homemade Flan is perfect. Very gracious owner and staff with a nice, simple outdoor eating area adjacent to the restaurant. Don't miss this one if... More

I lived for a while in Mexico many years ago, including in Puebla, the home of mole poblano. I haven't had much luck over the years finding decent versions in the US, especially on the East Coast. (I don't have an abuelita at home to gather all the ingredients and spend the time needed to make it properly.) The enchiladas... More

We went with my wife as we stopped by santa barbara on our way to san diego. The quality and amount of the serving in this place is amazing for a hole in the wall style join (don't worry, they have a nice patio with some tables if u want to eat right there). The burrito i ate was spectacular.... More
