You cant fault the food at this old favourite - the portions are huge and the quality of the dishes is always excellent. The same can't be said of the service - totally depends who you get so it's really inconsistent. Worth taking a chance though as its the best pasta in town.

While there is indoor seating, we like sitting outside next to the bocce court. Good service, very good food and reasonable prices in a relaxed setting. Forgetaboutit!

We had a large family gathering here on a Friday evening and the staff and food was great. The patio is fantastic! They have plenty of heat lamps available for when the temps cool off later in the evening. It's definitely and old place, but has a great atmosphere and a great option with kids.

This is an interesting place and a must if new or visiting SB. Feels like an Italian village in the patio area. Food is very good, nice drink selection. Inside can be loud, especially near bar, so a family should request outside. Special room for large parties.

Very casual. Good service. Excellent dinners and most reasonable prices. We shared appetizers and entrees. More than adequate. Caprese salad and garden salads perfect. Entree Of Pasta with creamy vodka sauce excellent. Could not get table on back patio. Suggest requesting with reservation but no complaint about indoor facilities. A definite "go again."

Sweet place off the beaten path in Santa Barbara. Delicious gnocchi. Patio was delightful, but the inside also had some charm.

We hosted a rehearsal dinner here for my son and his fiancée. Arnoldi's has such a warm family feel, it was a perfect place to celebrate a new marriage. Sara Peri, a member of the family who owns Arnoldi's, was wonderful to work with as we planned the menu and setup. The food was plentiful and delicious, served family style... More

Don't let the low key decor fool you. Our group of 6 had a wonderful time here. Everything was delicious. I had a the clam pasta in a white wine sauce. It was excellent, not creamy like you sometimes find. The cocktails are mixed well, service is friendly and helpful.

Arnoldi's is an old Santa Barbara institution, and offers great service and excellent food. Off the beaten path, so not a lot of tourists, but well worth the few blocks off of State St. Very inviting outdoor seating in the back, and a great bar. If you haven't gone, you're missing out.
