Cute little cafe on State Street with very friendly staff. The breakfast was very tasty and a good price too!

I wasn't too hungry that day so I only had a side of eggs but my friend had the poached eggs with lobster which looked amazing. Service was quite efficient and the food was good. They had the special "cuban coffee" which was quite tasty. Location is smack in the middle of downtown so you can't miss this place!

This was a great place to have breakfast. It was excellent and the service was good. A little confusing how you order in the beginning, I would go back!

The only reason Jeanine's doesn't get 5 stars is because you have to order and then sit. BUT, this system works incredibly well for them, and the food is great. Outside seating for those who have a furry friend, and great coffee drinks. So good we went twice on our last visit. They do need another bathroom as well (this... More

This cafe deserves its success. We ate breakfast there twice enjoying everything from their fruit smoothie to the French toast with eggs and bacon, as well as one of their specials with kale and quinoa. The selection of baked goodies inspired us to take along some scones as a present for some friends who we were meeting later. With the... More

Got lucky when we discovered a sign at The Acala...as we thought the nearest Jeannines was in Montecito. We mozied past the Turtle pond and saw outside tables with plenty of smiling faces "No sign "..so I went inside where a friendly staff said "THIS is IT...you order and pay inside at a main counter then we bring you the... We had a wonderful and abundant breakfast by Jeannine's. Their pancakes are amazing and a nice variety of plates is offered. The coffee was good (said by an Italian - demanding - coffee drinker)

A local suggested that we dine at Jeannine's for breakfast before leaving town. Her suggestion was right on, because the food was fresh, high end, and tasty. You will pay a little more than what you would at Sambo's or a Coco's, but it is well worth the price difference. Companion had pancakes and bacon and he said both were... More

Had breakfast here a few months ago and came back when I was in town for lunch. Fresh and tasty food. They also make amazing scones.
