A perfect stopping point on a trip to LA. Close to highway exit and easy to park. Quirky flavours of the yummiest ice-cream ever! We all had a double scoop in a waffle cone as that was the smallest choice on the menu but wish...I’d asked for just one scoop as struggled to eat it all. They don’t advertise that one scoop is an option but obviously it is as I saw other customers with this. Still a great place to get ice cream and there are tables to eat outside in a shady spot too.More

One of the best places to get great tasting ice cream. Turkish coffee is my favorite, with lots of choices beyond the standards. All tasting of fresh ingredients. Akin to Fosselmans from Alhambra, CA. Worth the visit.

The lines get very long here in the afternoon and evening and it is easy to see why. They serve wide variety of ice cream and no doubt all are delicious. We tried a combination of vanilla, chocolate chip, mint and chip, and cookies and...cream. Each flavor was really tasty. Two waffle cones with double scoops and two separate single scoops cost approximately $30. But it was well worth it. The parking lot is very small but there should be plenty of free parking nearby in the neighborhood. As indicated, there can be long lines. We came at approximately 11 AM and there was no line. So get your. fantastic ice cream early!More

Scratch ice cream in great flavors. For each scoop, you can select 2 flavors, allowing you to taste more flavors. Peanut butter tasted like it came freshly roasted nuts. Chocolate covered strawberries in vanilla cream was nice balance.

The new flavor, "chocolate chocolate chocolate" is VERY dangerous. One might be tempted to return the following day to see if indeed it really WAS that good the previous night . . .

Mission Street or McConnell's ice cream is delicious. I normally get the chocolate mint - or the coffee chip. The servings are generous and the ice cream is really creamy.

First had McConnell's ice creams in the early '70's. Stopped in with relative to grab a few scoops to eat immediately and a pint to go. One of our favorite flavors is Turkish Coffee. I don't believe they make a bad flavor! If you are...having an ice cream attack I highly recommend this location. Parking is a challenge. They have a small lot that handles three or four vehicles. Street parking is even more of a challenge.More

We were visiting our family in Santa Barbara and they had indicated that they had found an awesome icecream place on their anniversary. They were correct. Mission Street offers homemade style icecream in either a cup, a standard cone or a great tasting waffle cone....They have several different flavors and combinations that you will not find at other icecream places. Kids can get extra goody items mixed into their icecream also. They also offer shakes and malts. If you love icecream, I would stop in.More

I really enjoyed this little corner ice cream store. They have many different ice cream flavors. I got mine in a cup and walked while eating it. I will definitely be making another visit the next time I visit Santa Barbara.

If you live here or are traveling through this is an absolute must! The ice cream is unparalleled! Homemade ice cream, homemade cones! There is always a line out the door and there’s a reason!

This is a small local ice cream shop. The place can get busy. But the line moves. There is not a lot of parking, so you may park on the street. There is not a lot of outdoor seating either. They serve a popular local...ice cream that is very good. For me, the star was the sundae. If I recall it was around $7 which isn't cheap, but it was large and soaked in toppings. It was a meal, and I loved it. Don't let the odd, somewhat off-the-beaten-path location of this place discourage you, it's worth a visit.More

If you are looking for ice cream ~ do not pass up this excellent little ice cream parlor. Five of us all had a different choice and all totally satisfied. One massive scoop can be split into two flavors or all the same. The flavors...are all unique. Ice cream, yogurts, soft serve.More

Ice cream so great we went back twice!. Flavors are amazing. Loved the Earl Grey with biscuits and the praline whiskey, while my husband loved the Turkish black coffee flavor and my sons the churro and dulce de leche flavors. The eureka lemon and moutainberry...was also memorable.More
