We were seated immediately on a busy night without a reservation so we were off to a good start. Most of the seating is outside on a lovely patio so be prepared for cool weather as the evenings in Santa Barbara can be in the spring. We didn't get one of the tables with the fire pits but ask for... More

I've been coming here for years. Little by little things have gone downhill. Menus are now paper flyers, lentil soup got bland, waiters seem edgy, recording for reservation now talks about how you can't reserve fire pit tables. Prices up, quality down. Still a great atmosphere, but not the 5 star it once was.

Zaytoon serves up good lebanese and middle eastern food for lunch and dinner. All of the lamb dishes are excellent. However, the wine list has only high-end wines

One of my favorite in Santa Barbara. A must visit when the weather is nice and warm. They have fire pit on most tables and also heat lamps in the patio for chilly nights. Of course they have great food as well.

We arrived for an early dinner without a reservation and were seated without a significant wait. Zaytoon is staffed by courteous young adults who are appropriately attentive. The food uses good-quality ingredients and prepares them well, with nicely balanced flavors. Before sunset, finding a place in the shade can be a challenge for one or more members of a party,... Zaytoon has a lovely outdoor dining area, including some tables with built in fire pits. The food was excellent, and the service was very good. They even had a belly dancer! All in all, a delightful evening. Highly recommended.

The ambiance and the food here are both fantastic. Come at night to enjoy the cool lighting and the fire pits. I loved my fattoush salad with falafel balls. The salad itself is slightly tangy and very fresh. It comes with all of the entrees, though I ordered one as a entree salad and added the falafel. Try the watermelon... More

Magical experience if you plan it right. Make a res. Ask for fire pit outside if weather allows. Get an assortment of items. Bring good friends and relatives on speaking terms. Avoid the inside hookah smoking if that makes you sneeze or wheeze.

Dinner here is a must when entertaining guests or for a special night out. This was our second visit (last time was 2014) and the food and atmosphere was just as good as we remembered. The fact that it's tucked away in a quiet neighborhood makes for easy street parking (at least on a weekday when we went) and a... More
