We went for our 25 wedding anniversary. The table had a little surprise waiting and the staff was the perfect balance of attentive yet respectful of our privacy. When you combine that people skill with food craft it's a perfect ten. Or five as the case may be. Can't wait to go back!q

First visit to this warm and lovely restaurant where we four found the food superb and the service excellent. The food was presented beautifully. Made reservations online and forgot to mention the birthday. But, when the hostess called to confirm the reservation she specifically asked if we were celebrating anything. We were greeted with rose petals strewn on the table... More

Hands down the best dining experience and food on our trip to SB. The lamb was the largest portion I have ever been served and was unbelievable. Heads up for the cocktail drinks those are not served here, wine only. Also this is as farm to table as I think you can get. The waiter explained that almost everything served... More

You can't go wrong. This has it all - excellent atmosphere, food, and service. We don't drink wine; so can't speak to those choices, first hand; although, others in our party said the somelier got it right!

Food was great. Lag time between courses due to large party in another room. Wine selection was excellent.

We came for some dégustation and were well pleased. Heirloom Tomato Salad: Yes! Like from a home grown garden layered with a creamy and smooth goat cheese. Forest Mushroom Ragout: Yes! Amazing firm, earthy and woodsy flavor mixed with some softer velvety texture. Simply prepared with subtle hints of truffle oil and not over salted. Local Sea Bass: Yes! Fish... More

Back in May, my husband and I flew in from Texas and made reservations to dine at Bouchon in celebration of our 35th anniversary. It was amazing then, which is why we returned three months later. Santa Barbara, you have a priceless culinary gem in this tiny establishment. This time around, we tried the Pecan and Goat Cheese Tart, Heirloom... More
