We had an excellent meal here...scallop appetizer, salmon entree. Our only glitch was that the red wine was served way too warm. Yes, it was hot in Santa Barbara but a fine dining restaurant should be sensitive to the temperature of wines by the glass. Nothing is more cloying than warm red wine. When we mentioned it, the server (who... More

Our server, Louie, was terrible. He didn't listen to us, never checked to see if our meals were alright, and the table next to us left and told him they were paying for something they did not receive and that the service was terrible. My rack of lamb came out rare and cold and the mashed potatoes were cool. My... More

Food was good, service was surprisingly awkward. Our server suggested that we could leave more than what was added to the bill. When told that the service didn't reflect that, since people had to ask for refills, etc. the server walked off in a huff.

Pricey by local Santa Barbara standards, but reasonably priced compared to top Los Angeles restaurants. Gourmet food and friendly attentive waiters. The Forest Mushroom Ragout is unbelievable; we've been trying to replicate it at home.

I hadn't been here in forever until friends invited me recently. The food, the service are top notch and the waiters personalities are superb. I loved it.

Dinner with family. Interesting menu...you must try the scallop medley!! Wine list was local and the waiter, Justin, was very knowledgeable. We followed his recommendation on several menu and wine choices. Lovely, quiet venue.

Living in Santa Barbara you are spoilt for choice when it comes to great restaurants! There's just soo many! My most recent visit to Bouchon was special because my parents were over visiting! We were warmly greeted and seated at the front table overlooking the street! It was around 8pm and the restaurant was quite full-I'd definitely recommend booking!! Great... More

First and foremost, this Bouchon restaurant is not connected to the Thomas Keller group. It is a stand alone that i believe has been in SB for almost 20 years. They are specialists in Farm to Table, and Wine pairing. Note: They are only wine and beer, no cocktails. However, the wine selections are tremendous.
