The Palace Grill turned out to be a perfect and fun way to celebrate our 21st anniversary. The food was delicious - we could hardly get past all the fantastic appetizers and cornbread muffins - but entrees (and drinks!) were equally scrumptious. Since it was a special occasion, they wished us a happy anniversary in chocolate on our dessert platter.... More

Nice ambiance, dim, romantic even though noisy..you somehow still can have a good conversation with your party. Great atmosphere, gets crowded during the weekends. Met the owners who in return surprised us with a anniversary cake which was on the same anniversary as theirs. Lovely place.

Dined here for the second time after many years. The food was very good! Service is wonderful and the atmosphere is very fun. I had the fresh fish catch of the day which was awesome. You must order a soufflé for dessert - phenomenal! If you're looking for something quiet, this may not be the place, but it's a lot... More

We have been to New Orleans about 15 times and it is known for food. The food here was good, but could be brought up a level. No raw oysters or crawfish which is a bit disappointing. My blackened redfish was not very spicy and the Vegas may have been frozen. But, great Cajun/Creole food is hard to find and... More

Sounds like we didn't quite serve our very best food, Ron, and I'm sorry if we disappointed you. While we don't have a few menu items you were looking for, we pride ourselves on capturing both the spirit and the flavors of NOLA. Here's hoping we'll get another chance to impress you soon! Always one of the most fun spots in town and wonderful food. The fish and blackened steaks are the best.

As soon as you arrive you get the infectious happy and fun atmosphere of this place. The staff are delightful. The Cajun and creole food is absolutely delicious. The service is quick so you don't need to rush to make a choice. They recommended having some popcorn shrimp while we made our choices which was perfect. They also have a... More

That atmosphere you described is so integral to the Palace Grill experience, JB! I had been here about 17 years ago and it was fantastic. The ambiance with the singing of "What a wonderful world" is truly something everyone should experience. Appetizers came up quick and were great. Popcorn crawfish and coconut shrimp. The crawfish were not crispy, though Meal was good: Chicken Picatta, Chicken Marsala, and Jambalaya. I remember it better before.... More

Restaurant was recommended by a friend from Goleta during my visit to the area. I had dinner on my own. The staff was wonderful, the food delicious and the eclectic crowd fun to be around, I thoroughly loved it and will visit again! Thanks
