I love their food and it is priced really reasonably. The waitstaff and management don't seem to care about service however. Everything was slow. They blamed the film festival, but why don't they anticipate and have more people ready?

Very good soups and broths. Not too salty and very fresh and tasty. A little far up State Street for tourists...maybe but very good.

Nice change from typical SB menus. I love the pho with beef and rice noodles. Vietnamese iced coffee is a special favorite beverage. Service is sometimes a bit slow but thorough. Good location, lots of seating.

A family owned restaurant that has the best Vietnamese food in Santa Barbara. It has two locations and both are excellent

Decent hot pot soup with decent price. Nice decor, friendly service. A lot of selection - the price range is decent

Saigon's ambiance did not draw me in on this cold day as we left our coats on through the ordering process. The menu choices were many, but we managed to spotlight the warmer noodle/soup choices to thaw us out fairly quickly. The friendly staff arrived at the table in good time with our duck curry with noodles and a plate... More

Attentive and friendly staff, but menu with way too many options and very little written in Vietnamese (or english phonetic equivalent) if I recall correctly. The beef phō with beef slices was very good - exactly what I expected, as were the fresh spring rolls. Nothing to complain about, but also nothing to rave about. For my preferences, the menu... This spot was recommended by my Vietnamese nail tech, so we figured it would be authentic, and were pleased to see a Vietnamese family dining when we arrived. Perhaps we just ordered the wrong things. Our appetizer shrimp spring rolls were overstuffed with lettuce (and some obligatory mint and cilantro), very few bean sprouts and a few tiny shrimp stuffed... More

Really enjoyed my lunch here at the Saigon Vietnamese Restaurant in Santa Barbara. The noodles were authentic and generous in portions and the sauvignon blanc wine by the glass was delicious. I had a nice aftertaste leaving the place and the price was fair and high value. I wasn't really thrilled by the service though; there seemed to be long... More
