The spinach in our salad was very fresh and the salad itself was quite large and satisfying. We also shared a 12" mushroom and sausage pizza that was quite good. With wine the bill was $72. Our dinner table was in the walkway behind the...restaurant which was quiet and private.More

We grabbed a couple pizzas when we rolled into town to take back to our hotel. We had the Umbra with crimini mushrooms and black truffles and the Parma with mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula and shaved parmesan. Both were very good; even better cold the next day.

My wife and I decided on pizza and found this wonderful pizzaria in downtown. We had the Diavola pizza which has a little kick to it spice wise. It has a strong flavor, but not in a bad way. We split the pizza after having...a very yummy bean soup. They have a nice selection of wine and beer and mixed drinks. The staff was very nice and attentive. The decor brought a nice ambience in its Italian village vibe. We definitely plan to go back when we venture to Santa Barbara again.More

My wife and I (age 67) ate here last night for the first time while on an extended visit to the area. There is a public parking lot next door. The restaurant is very cozy. We had made a reservation and were shown to a...table right away, then had to wait five minutes or so for a server. Service was good nevertheless. We had a generous Caesar salad that was good and a pizza that was also good, if not the best we’ve had in the area. Great selection of beers, wine and liquor.More

We had a group of 10 and it was Christmas Eve, and we still had great service. We had pizza, chopped and Cesar salads and pasta. We ate our meal family style and it worked out perfect. We also ordered black calamari. I didn’t eat...it, but the rest of the family enjoyed it. We were one of the last ones to leave the restaurant before they closed. There were families there enjoying the evening. We went to dinner with our cousins who live in SB and eat there frequently. This was my first time there and I would go back. My daughter has also eaten there before. It has a cool vibe. And there is parking right behind the restaurant which is helpful, since the streets are busy. They also own a fancier restaurant Olio E Limon.More

Our reservation was not honored. Their staff handled a momentary problem with over reacting and lack of professionalism. Yes, there had been a momentary power outage. And we don’t doubt that they had some problems from that with their systems for ordering and billing. But...rather than greet us and seat us with a glass of wine or whatever while the computer rebooted and things returned to normal, they refused to to seat us and told us to leave. Ironically we observed that their other restaurant next door, Olio e Limone, seated two new parties moments after we were asked to leave the pizzeria. I can only assume that the high end restaurant had more professional staff. In any case we are done with Olio pizzeria. This treatment was really as bad as We have ever experienced, particularly disappointing from a restaurant we have enjoyed so many times.More

This two story gem is a true hidden treasure here I Santa Barbara. The pizza is exactly what I experienced in Rome and prepared before your eyes. It’s a delight for all the senses and the staff understands the European tradition of unhurried dining.

Came here for dinner with my family. Appetisers were great, good service etc. However I ordered a pizza without cheese however the pizza still managed to taste of cheese and the pepperoni is extra spicy!
