About
Convivo is a Santa Barbara restaurant with an Italian soul. Chef-Owner Peter McNee's food is best described as ‘Nomad Italian’. It strays from the standard or traditional Italian, sourcing inspiration from many other cultures’ cooking but its soul is thoroughly Italian. The ever-changing menu includes small plates, housemade pasta, wood-fired pizza, rotisserie chicken, fresh seafood and steaks served family-style. McNee’s all-star supplier network provides the freshest produce and local seafood the region is famous for. Inspired by the bounty of the sea, the lush farms and abundant vineyards nearby and the cooking methods of Italy, Convivo is a festive gathering place for locals and visitors

Seldom to hotel restaurants knock it out of the park but this one does checks every box. The chef d''cuisine needs to have his/her name at the top of the menu because their creativity and combining of unusual ingredients produces some truly one of a...More

I would go so far to say one of the best Italian meals we have had in California. Appetizers and pasta were creative and delicious. Service was friendly and the outdoor seating has a great ambience.

Great for takeout and a picnic!! The service was friendly and fast, so we had more time to get outside and enjoy the ambiance. The food is fresh and excellent quality! Definitely recommend it!

We stayed at the Santa Barbara Inn & wanted to walk to dinner. We decided on the Inn’s restaurant just a few steps away! A hidden gem (as most hotel restaurants are usually mediocre at best). We learned the locals dine here as well! We...More

House made pasta was good, with a very food tomato sauce. The whole fish was expensive ($65) for two, and poorly deboned and cut. The fish seemed frozen! Poorly prepared. Salads were good. Service was excellent. Very good wine list.

We stayed at the SB Inn and had room service from this restaurant for lunch and dinner, i have never had better food for room service, so darn good. We ate their for breakfast the next morning and it was equally as good.

Beautiful fresh salads, perfectly cooked fish, yummy thin crust pizza, and a good wine list. The outdoor dining area is lovely.
