A little expensive, but very tasty carne asada tacos with fresh made tortillas. The chips and salsa are one of he best around. It is in an old pueblo so it feels very authentic. Excellent service and definitely family friendly.

The Chile relleno was amazing. Super fresh and fluffy... Obviously fresh and not canned. If you like carnitas make sure to try them here, they are tender and moist but still have that crispy outside char and you can taste a hint of lime in them and nobody makes better guacamole. The staff is so friendly you leave feeling like... More

I like this restaurant because the staff treat you like family. I don't think the food is amazing. It's not bad it's just not particularly inspired and, in my opinion, not especially tasty. However, the staff are so great don't mind a visit once in a while.

Service makes a huge difference when you pay $12 for a couple of tacos. Avila's offers a great dinning experience that goes well with the quality food coming out of the kitchen. The best part of coming here is the exceptional service provided by Kathy. We will wait just to be seated in her section. If you are a regular... More

Good food for carnivores and vegetarians. I ordered the Chile rellano burrito. It was HUGE and yummy. It is happy hour here from 4 to 8pm. Well drinks are $4.75 there are $4 plates. The bartender is friendly and efficient. I will be back.

We'd just arrived, and asked to take a friend to dinner. She picked this place- we'd never been- and found the food and ambiance to be wonderful. I don't remember what each of us had, but the food seemed to vanish quickly enough. Most memorable was the sangria that was handmade for us- either by the owner or by the... More
