After coming over from Tijuana, this was a welcome sight. A good, solid American breakfast place. One thing about chain restaurants: you know what you're going to get. No surprises. Good service, good menu choices, good prices.

Had breakfast here 2 days in a row, service was good both days, the food was good both days, absolutely no complaints. Always get a full pot of coffee even when by myself, had bacon, eggs and pancakes the first day and an omelette the next day and I would have either of these breakfasts again if in the area.... We discovered this place after we waited at Denny's for over 20 minutes while there we no other customers and still couldn't get seated. Which was fine in the end because this food was amazing. Service was good and the place was clean

This IHOP right at the border serves the normal menu of IHOP, the staff is bilingual but the service tends to be a little bit slow, it´s located inside the Americas Plaza so you can grab a bite before or after shopping there

I have visited many iHop in San Diego area and I would not recommend this one. The service here is slow and very rude, it seems that the servers here do not like to work there. If you have chance to drive further than I would recommend to go to the Eastlake iHop where the service is top.

We arrived early and needed breakfast before a morning of shopping. It was clean and the service was fast and friendly. We ordered pancakes with blueberries and peaches and they were delicious as was the coffee which was topped up frequently by our attentive waitress. Perfect before a morning of retail therapy.

Not a lot of options for lunch right at the border. But you can count on this one. Very clean, and very good, friendly service. Food was good. A little different having a sandwich at IHOP, but it worked. Burgers were good and so were the sandwiches. And of course you can get a side of pancakes. A nice change... More

I ordered pancakes for breakfast but once I poured the syrup over them they lost consistency so I had to deal with crumbs instead of pancakes, I thought it was the same in all IHOP restaurants but then I visited the one in Tijuana and they serve a much better version of pancakes. So maybe I need to visit the... More

Stopped by for a late lunch during a visit to the Factory Outlets at San Ysidro. Not crowded so got to sit anywhere we liked. Good friendly service by our host who brought drinks faster than we could say 'please', so full marks there and we gave a nice tip. Enjoyed the Philly cheese steak stacker although it probably didn't... More
