Food was OK but not a large choice, if you want fine dining the would suggest that you consider the restaurant.

The food was pretty good although a little over priced. The service however was appalling. Long wait to be seated, then a long wait for drinks. Forced to go back for breakfast (nothing else around) and the table was dirty as we're most of the ones around us.

We ate on the outside patio next to the fireplace, which was a lovely area. The food was delicious, and the service was very good.

Leaving Hearst Castle headed north up the PCH we needed lunch. We stumbled into the delightful rustic styled restaurant located on Ragged Point. Lunch was out on the patio. Simple but quality sandwiches. The surprise was the view over the Ragged Cliffs. Beautiful.

Summer is the best time to visit this restaurant when there are enough visitors to keep the staff busy. The food is better than average, but the views and the grounds are gorgeous. I've had many a nice experience there and DO recommend the restaurant if you are driving Highway 1. I come every year at least once to celebrate... More
