We would highly recommend the Ragged Point Inn - it had everything you needed for a great stopover on our road trip.

I would highly recommend stopping here if just for the hike down to the black/grey sand beach. It is a decent trek that gets dark dust all over your feet and ankles and does require a little boulder hopping/crawling. We even saw some otters. The food, which was at the to go window, was ok. They can charge high prices... More

We were completely ecstatic with this place! Rooms are old and 'lodgey' but we love that type of stuff. Our 8 yr old was in awe of the views! We did eat at the pricey restaurant but we enjoyed it. Staff was very sweet to us. I would go back here every year if I could. It was the perfect... More

Stumbled upon this place driving up the coast. What a view! Ragged Point in the southern most area of Big Sur. There is one restaurant in Ragged Point. You get the option to sit inside at area that has a bar and pub style food, or on the other side, with a short and pricey menu on the patio with... More

Very slow to prepare food, Extremely greasy when finally made. Several orders confused. BLT was served very luke warm. Southern fried chicken sandwich was decent but expensive (at 7.70 for a very small portion)

This is only restaurant in Ragged Point but worth the stop for views. Patio deck, limited menu, a little pricey. Staff was friendly & talkative.

Food was OK but not a large choice, if you want fine dining the would suggest that you consider the restaurant.

The food was pretty good although a little over priced. The service however was appalling. Long wait to be seated, then a long wait for drinks. Forced to go back for breakfast (nothing else around) and the table was dirty as we're most of the ones around us.

We ate on the outside patio next to the fireplace, which was a lovely area. The food was delicious, and the service was very good.

This was a nice restaurant although a little pricey! There was a very expensive side and then the more cafe side which had more reasonable prices. We chose the cafe side for all meals in two days. There is nowhere else to go so you just have to eat there! The food was great and served hot and in a... More
