We stopped for lunch because the road was closed. The restaurant is full of Windows with beautiful views from every table. Food was delicious, well presented, just a nice experience. We loved the clam chowder...creamy and lots of clams. Cobb salad was tasty, the half portion was plenty. Chicken enchiladas had a very good sauce. Our server was friendly and... More

It's a hotel surrounded with beautiful garden with so many plants, trees and flowers that you almost feel as in a botanical garden. Nice coffee shop and a view point for the wild beach cliffs from top. Don't miss that (!)

Lovely setting, friendly service and they serve fantastic food. The steak in particular was a real highlight. Tip: a nice place to also stay for a trip to Hearst Castle; much better than the motels in San Simeon.

We visited in October and were lucky enough to get a table on the patio. I had fish and chips and husband had a lobster roll. Food was hot and tasty and the portions were enormous. What made it so special was the view. It was competely amazing. Well worth a visit.

Stopped here for coffee and to walk around their overview trails. Very picturesque. Stunning views. Place gets crowded so patience is a must. Glad we stopped.

It is such a treat to be by the ocean and have fabulous food and a great experience and all at an affordable price! We enjoyed breakfast of cinnamon french toast, which was super yummy, a cheeseburger with fries and onion rings that was outstanding and a dinner of fresh salmon with yummy potatoes and veggies and a side salad.... The service was horrible. The food was terrible and overpriced. The view was mediocre. It is the only restaurant for miles around. Avoid if you can - although if you are staying at the inn, this might be difficult. Strange vibe.

We stayed here for one night while driving the pacific coast highway from Santa Barbara to San Francisco. Pros: -absolutely beautiful location. The hotel has a steep trail behind it that leads down to a black sand beach and waterfall (see photos). You don't need to stay at the hotel to stop here and hike the trail. -room was very... More

We didn't eat at the full sitdown restaurant but stopped at the ice cream stand and the cafe, both of which were so subpar that I would never return. The ice cream shop, despite a neon sign that said open, refused to serve a couple behind me ice cream. The young female employee said they were closed despite the sign.... More

Great place for food and they also do take away stuff, very handy when travelling the PCH. walk around their gardens and have a picnic looking at the coast from the cliffs
