We were told this cafe had lots of pastries on display, but apparently that’s only during the week. On weekends, they offer a brunch menu. So between us we had a sausage on a bun, an apple tartlet, and 2 coffees. Not bad, but nothing...special.More

tried Saturday brunch on high recommendations from our daughter. Attila did not disappoint. overall, we had a good dining experience with our grandchildren who loved their pancakes. the five year old twins ate more than 1 pancake each which spoke highly of the dish since...they are picky eaters. we usually rate a breakfast by tasting their pancakes. it is a simple dish that most restaurants fail by serving dense flat discs. Attila had fluffy pancakes that can be eaten plain or served up with some butter and syrup. definitely worth a return visit just to have pancakes and nothing else fancy. we tried the corned beef hash--yummy chunks of meat but the cheddar biscuit was not cheesy enough. the vegetable frittata was moist and flavorful. the sausage breakfast sandwich was just okay. service is good with food served quickly. staff taking order was patient since we had ordered 5 dishes plus 3 desserts to go. the huckleberry was the best of the 3 desserts (others being Rigo and Mango). we were so full from the breakfast that we actually had the desserts at dinner.More
Best Cajun restaurant in the San Ramon area. I think it is pretty original Louisiana cooking. I would do business with again.
Went for Sunday brunch recently. Not the nicest of neighborhoods or ambiance. Food is decent, service is good.
I read the reviews and tried this place for breakfast but my experience wasn't that great. The food was disappointing - my frittata was so dry that I couldn't finish it and my biscotti was stale. The lady behind the counter was grumpy - it...felt like she didn't want any customers to be there. Their decor is very outdated. I don't think I'll be returningMore
Great food and cozy atmosphere. Small place but they offer pastries and a small menu. I believe the menu changes day to day, but have only been there twice.
Stopped by during a bike ride. Food was really tasty and service was good. Like the variety of tables to sit at.
I've been here about 5 times with friends, it's supper yummy! Everything I've ever gotten has been excellent! I also love the people who work there! I highly recommend it!
They have really good baked goods and their lunch is awesome. The portions are just right and everything is delicious. The atmosphere is pleasant and is great to place to meet friends for lunch or an afternoon coffee break.
I just really like this cafe and for the owners, making it also a lunch/dinner place, it was a really smart move. Love the menu, the friendliness, the whole atmosphere there.
Heard about this cafe, across town for me, from a local business property owner commenting during a SR Planning Commission workshop. Have made two stops for lunch, the last after a nearby Costco run. First time tried the Pork Tenderloin. Excellent, especially the mushroom sauce....Second time was a Sunday brunch-they were already out of my first two choices. Ended up trying the meatloaf sandwich. Kind of on the dry side, not really what I expected-which dropped my overall rating from "excellent" to "very good". Best advise-get there early, listen to staff recommendations, go with dishes that put emphasis on sauce. Will definitely go back.More
I've only been here for lunch, and it's always amazing. Get here early as there is a line. I've heard breakfast on the weekends are good too.
Great food. Period. Visited here last week with a friend, on the recommendation of another friend. Otherwise, I would have not known this restaurant existed. FABULOUS FOOD. We shared a plate of spaetzle and a meatball sandwich. Both were great entrees! This restaurant is located...in a strip mall, and there isn't any ambience -- just good food. You grab a menu, decide what you want, order at the front, and are given a number so your meal is delivered to your table when it is ready. But the restaurant was clean, the service was great, and the food was a tasty treat. This restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch. On the way out, we purchased iced teas to go and several great cookies, as there was quite an assortment of delicious pastries. So glad we stopped by, and yes, I'll be back.More
Have only tried their cakes - Mango and Opera. Yummy but rather small for the price. Store is closed on Mondays as I unfortunately discovered once.
Everyone I've taken to this restaurant loves it. The food is unpretentious but beautifully prepared. Best mussels I have ever had! The baked goods ( including the dinner bread) are just about perfect and small plates are available for those with lesser appetites. Their Caesar...Salad is in a class of its own, has a smoky taste; be sure and try it. Beet Salad is not only healthy but delicious. The staff is delightful. Doesn't get much better than this.More
