We go here often and the staff is friendly, efficient and best of all the food is GREAT! I have tried many different things from the specials for the day to standard lunch of a Reuben. They have great omelets, breakfast burritos, sandwiches and more. They are open for breakfast and lunch and I have seen they even have wine... More

Much like the Breakfast/Lunch eateries I grew up with, they offer most american style dishes. Very popular on the weekends so be prepared to wait!

This cozy family owned cafe offers up great breakfasts and really inventive and tasty SPECIALS. They can do a PERFECT sunnyside up egg and often do a really good Huevos Rancheros special that is a good balance of spicy and savory. Haven't been there for other meals, but attended a wedding that their catering division (called Simply Elegant, I think)... More

Everything is good at Ruggie's! My favorite breakfast is the pulled pork with sweet potato hash skillet. I haven't had lunch here, but I bet the burgers and other selections are just as good.

Ruggies is one of those places you hear about. It is friendly, great food and a down home feeling. I always feel at home and I know I will get a great meal. Many of the waitress have been there a long time. It is a small cafe and people with big hearts.

We have only gone for breakfast. Has limited seating but the food is worth the wait. Would be great if they did some outside seating. Staff is very friendly, quick and efficient service. Reasonably priced. Did I mention delicious? Kid friendly.

I ordered the basics. Two eggs, hashbrowns, toast and bacon. All were done perfectly and very quickly. Jill was the waitress and did a super job for myself and all others that were seated around me. She is to be commended for working hard and having a great sense of humor.

On 10/19/14, I took my family out for breakfast, I left a half cash half cc gratuity to the sever Elvira. Several days later I noticed a unfamiliar charge amount on my cc from Ruggie's Restaurant. I called Ruggie's and asked for a manager, I was told management would not be at the location for a couple days, but was... More

Just what I was looking for. Small, neighborhood diner with booths from the 70's. The food selection is terrific. Very clean, wait staff is very attentive, the cook staff does not make you wait long for your food. Food was served nice and hot. Great experience and a must try place if you are driving on hwy680 @ crow canyon... More
