We go to this restaurant 2-3 times a month. The food is good and at a reasonable price. Where they really excel is their service. Have never had a bad experience. I can't emphasize how nice the employees are. What I especially like is how willing they are to accommodate your tastes and make changes or substitutions to their menus.... More

Been going to Celia's for a couple decades - and I love love love the joint. From the ranchera decor to the wonderful platas, this place is like home cooking to me. I started out with the burritos way back when, but soon graduated to the chicken-&-avocado tostada, which has become pretty much the reason I show up good l&... More

Nothing special, just your normal mexican restaurant. Good but not great service. Price was pretty good.

First of all, horrible service. Bartender brought us the wrong type of beer from what we had ordered, and tried to blame us for saying a different type of beer type when it wast even close to the type of beer we had ordered. He did have a lot of people he was attending so he might of confused our... More

Celia's in San Rafael isn't in the best neighborhood and doesn't look fantastic from the street but, don't let looks fool you! The food is authentic mexican food. It brought tears of joy to this SoCal boy transplanted to the East Coast who misses the Real Thing!

Good chips and salsa to start....but the margarita was a major league disappointment...hardly tangy at all. They pour some pre made mix from a bottle that tasted watered down/diluted r at least hardly limey/tangy....passed on the second one and just had a beer. Food was fine; ate at the bar and enjoyed the game on the newish wide screen TV.... More

The food was not very fresh as if it was made before we came. I went here years ago and it was much better. I'm not sure if it was just an off night or what but I wouldn't recommend for Mexican food. You are better of going to Chevy's.

YES, I know, Cella's has been around for years and a lot of people go out of habit. The service is bad and the food is tasteless. If you think this is great Mexican food you are sadly mistaken
