With a tasting menu of $79 and wine pairing for 2 glasses at $66, I expected a special experience. When third person in our party had to unexpectedly cancel, we were seated in a small bistro table. Surprising since the restaurant was almost empty at 7:45 on a Saturday night. The first and second course were good but the dessert... More

I had an important dinner meeting and was specifically advised to make a reservation here. I made my reservation on Jan 7 for my dinner meeting. An email confirmed my reservation and I was all set. The day of my meeting, I had the good sense to call to confirm my reservation. A lady answered who advised me the restaurant... More

We had a most excellent evening at Viognier with 5 friends - all of us foodies and traveling far and wide for good restaurants. Chef Chris Aquino and his team and our server (sorry, did not catch the name) rocked!! I've read the past reviews - it's a good sign of the maturity of the restaurant management that the chef... There are some fantastic restaurants that focus on a small number of menu selections and ensure that each is done to absolute perfection. Viognier is not one of this restaurants. The food is fussy, lacking in taste, texture and seasoning and focused too much on looking "pretty on a plate". The Beet Salad was beautifully arranged but lacked any real... More

We were treated by our supplier to a business dinner here and half of the dining room upstairs were reserved for us. We were able to mix and mingle while partaking some delicious appetizers and wine. Servers were attentive to our needs and would magically appear to quickly take away used napkins or toothpicks. Food (fish) arrived a little cold... More

We were there last night on my husband's birthday, very DISAPPOINTED! Viognier was always high on my list before and we've always gone there for special occasions like birthdays and valentines day but they change the menu to a fixed menu and a very limited menu instead of a full array of list of ala carte menu. Price was high... More

First time there but parking is easy in the underground parking lot. Got there before reservation but were actually late as we were walking around the home goods and supermarket Draegers and lost track of the time. The menu is divided into a 3 course menu with two choices for each course and a 7 course menu without choices. Both... More

I had a reservation on July 21st at the Viognier (party of 6) and I had the worst experience ever. To start with, I asked for the wine menu and I had to implore the waiter to get the wine. The wine arrived after we finished the third course. Most of the time the plates were not taken out of... More

My wife's sister turned 70 this year and we hosted an early dinner for her at Viognier on 18 May. The food, service and room were all excellent. There were plenty of cocktails consumed (the Palomas were a big hit and the birthday girl had three really well prepared Negronis). We ordered right off of the regular menu and the... More

Inconsistency in the design of the menu and in execution, but some good moments in between... This really sums it up. Some dishes on the menu look like they came from the rustic Italian joint and some from a very fancy french place so unfocused impression was created. Prices were quite high and that was consistant :) Some food tasted... More
