When I entered the resturant around 8PM, no one was there. I should have recognised the omen and leave the place at the same moment. I did not listen to my head and ordered a Chicken Biryani which turned out to be worst food I ever tasted in my life. Chicken was raw and tasteless, not even boiled properly, and... More

We dined here one day, while we were staying in San Mateo. The spread of Indian dishes was good. It is a small eatery in the heart of the city. Recommended for good quality food.

Because of the spices, I think even mediocre Indian food is tasty in comparison to other cuisines, and their buffet is delicious enough for the price--my go-tos are the lemon rice, the mint sauce, the butter chicken, curry goat, tandoori chicken, palak paneer, aloo mutter, and dal with their hot naan bread. When Trader Joe's frozen Indian entrees and the... More

I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened in late 90s. I have tried their buffet and dinner several times. Most recently, I was there for dinner this week. I ordered Shish Kebob, Daal and Naan with Masala Chai. The service is good and the food was tasty. When I am in the San Mateo area, I usually... More

We have been here a few times on Saturday for the Buffet. Big food choice, reasonable price and good food. We compared the food choices by looking in at a few other Indian buffets nearby and like this one the best.

Very good Indian buffet in San Mateo downtown. I go their all the time. Price is reasonable for lunch buffet but might be a bit pricey for dinner.
