Arriving to San Mateo after a long journey I need to have a quick diner. The Staff is friendly - The food is typical Mexican but good quality. I was served promptly and efficient

We visited El Sinaloense on a busy Friday night. We loved everything about our experience- the atmosphere was fun, our service was personal, and the food was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. We will be regularly returning.

We all had different dishes, celupas , quesadillas, tapas and margheritas. All the selections were extremely well prepared, not greasy, and cooked to perfection. My wife and I had two regular margheritas and rest if the family, water. This is the second time we come here and it is always a great experience. The place is small and seating is... More

Based on a customer recommendation my colleague and I went there for dinner. Starting with the Margaritas, tremendously flavorful and complex. The ceviche is supposed to be their signature dish and we can agree this is the case. Perfectly seasoned, ample portion and very flavorful. The specialty of the house is seafood and the prawns were both jumbo and cooked... More

All four of us had a fantastic time here. Each dish that was ordered was done with quality. Salsa and chips were provided as soon as we were sat at our table and we were able to order within 5 minutes. Everything was done in a very timely manner. We will definitely come back.

Best food I've had on my trip through San Francisco and San Mateo. Got the Tostatas and Burrito and both were very good. Yum.

We ate here with friends during a football weekend. It's more authentic than I get back home and the prices are good. Chips and salsa for the table and we ordered a variety of menu items from soup to traditional Mexican foods and everyone enjoyed. We needed a large table and they were able to accommodate quickly. The margarita might... More

A colleague recommend we try El Singleness for dinner since we were in the area and, even though I had just come back from a week in Mexico City AND we were planning on having Mexican with a client for lunch that week, I figured I'd give it a try given the decent reviews. As a whole we found the... More

Yummy mexican food for a very fair price. Be sure to try their ceviche (my mouth is already watering thinking of it).

This place is awesome; sensational food (try the Sinaloense Tropical and Molcajete!...and of course the Margaritas), friendly service that does become slow from time to time, but that is part of the Mexican charm. Prices are fair and portions are good. This place is a must-try!!
