I liked how the beef was cooked with Asian fusion in mind but I didn’t like there was too much mayo on it... I got the beef bowl and the fries but I could’ve done without the fries.. definitely you should try it but I’m still searchin for that perfect Asian fast food

I had beef rice burger and fries that was so delicious , flavorful and tender beef with crispy rice from outside . Fries with sauce was so good. They are fastfood style but rich with nutrition like main meal.

Even though the amount of dishes offered doesn't reflect the variety of the Korean food, KoJa presents a great ratio price/ quality. A GOOD alternative to american fast foods.

Starting with a popular food truck, KOJA introduces a short menu fusing the taste of Korean and Japanese cuisines at small sit down restaurants in various bay area cities. The menu includes meats cut from Korean BBQ short ribs, beef and chicken, Japanese ahi tuna and a teriyaki vegetarian dish. These items are served like a hamburger (called the Koja) between a garlic rice bun, a bowl with rice on the side or as a taco. The meat items can be served with criss-cross fries as a side dish. The attractions are the food combination are novel, full of flavor, quickly prepared and cheap. The San Mateo restaurant just opened in June in the popular B Street restaurant area. It is small with about eight tables and counter seating, but the quick service leads to quick turnover of seats. Other KOJA Kitchens are in Berkeley, Emeryville, San Francisco and San Jose and there are plans to expand to Los Angles/Irvine. Their food truck still circulate around the bay area.
