I liked the feel and location of this place. I had great service and the restaurant was very clean. The reason I rated this place average was because Mediterranean, Arab, Greek, Israeli and other foods from the similar region should have more spice! This place was a watered down version of what I am used to and the pita was... More

There is a choice of lamb, beef or chicken meat grilled on a spit, falafel Greek style. This is the real thing! The food is fresh and tasty. They have a condiment bar, with sauces, pickles, etc. you put in the order at the counter, it is all based on an honor system. You are called when the order is... More

My wife and I got take out from Jaffe's and it was fantastic. Relatively inexpensive and plenty of it. I'd recommend it more for lunch than for dinner, especially if you want to drink. The sell wine by the bottle, but limited selection. If you do go at night...no corkage fee.

I visited Jaffa's San Luis Obispo cafe. The pita bread is so good. Many tasty items on the menu from your gyro to appetizers. I will definitely visit again.

When I lived in SLO, Jaffa was a favorite. Close to work, great variety of dishes, fast service and reasonable prices. I went last week and was not disappointed, met with 3 friends and we all ordered a different dish. the restaurant is in a new location, but still the same menu.

Very tasty food, inexpensive. Here you pay for the food and not for the fancy tablecloths. The place was nice, cozy, definitely not fancy, but the food was delicious and plenty.

Jaffa is the place to go for real gyro and falafel sandwiches at a reasonable price. The food is always super fresh and consistent from visit to visit. We also love their dolmas - super yum! Try it - you're sure to love the food!

We used to eat here all the time when we lived in SLO, and although they have relocated, the food is still delicious! It's a counter service eatery, where you fill out a paper with check marks next to your items and hand it over to the chef. You pay after you eat and they offer indoor or outdoor seating.... More

Always appealing and freshly made foods! They've moved to a newer building on Monterey and Johnson, which lacks some of the charm of an older building but, hey! It's delicious, it's better than Petra's (although doesn't offer pizza) and the staff is genial and warm.
