There in the middle of summer, knowing there would be less college students but some tourists, but the place was full. It took 20 minutes for drinks including water and she completely forgot about one for over a half an hour. Maybe ok for a stiff drink but not if you want them to keep coming...

Best Mac n' cheese ever!!!! Hubby got the "1117 chorro st" burger: half pound ground beef broiled to perfection smothered with sautéed onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms; I got the carnitas tacos and our friends got veggie mac and the "hot mama mac": o-m-g soooo yummy! Paired the whole thing with local wines and beers, but then switched to amazing... More

We dined here on our first night and were very pleased. The 805 beer turned out to be a favorite. The burgers were great and the shrimp pasta was enough to take some back and enjoy the next evening. We enjoyed the local feel and everyone was very nice.

Had drinks and dinner at Black Sheep for the first time. The service was very good and the patio was a nice place to enjoy the good weather although it good use a good cleaning as there were buckets, old drink cups and other items laying around for no reason. The beer was good and the hot buffalo wing appetizer... More

This pub was a pleasant surprise. I have to say I had the best seared tuna tacos and artichoke dip of my life, the flavors were amazing and the portions were abundant. Good vibe the whole evening, full of young people hanging out. Highly recommended!

Yummy tri tip nachos and mac-n-cheese. Love to see the same friendly staff with the same friendly faces whenever we come in. Also love the cozy stove on a cold day!

Although I haven't tried their food, I have been there a few times for drinks with friends. The atmosphere is nostalgic, the drinks are strong and the waitress provided great service.

This is primarily a bar that serves food but the menue is good and the food is normally excellent. Very good wait staff. Like most bars it's a little noisy and the seating is pretty minimal. For a quick meal it's great.

Me and my partner stopped here on the way to Santa Barbara because we were hungry and neither of us had been to SLO before. I imagined going to a wine bar but it's like 945 pm so not much was open in terms of wine places. So we ended up here because it had an open kitchen. Thankfully! Because... More

Wonderful full bar with scotch and other drinks that aren't available at other places. It's a real pub with the option of food during meal hours. :P
