Came for the clam chowder which was excellent but the baked goods were calling our name. The shrimp tacos were also excellent and price was reasonable. Could be very crowded so I would avoid the typical busy lunch and dinner times

Hands down, they have THE best salmon tacos. I won't order anything else when I come here & they have lots of options! My husband loves their clam chowder.

Splash restaurants are famous for their Clam Chowder. They have other choices as well. They have a decent little bakery.

Our group of 8 went to dinner at Splash and although a small venue, we eventually were able to get 2 tables. Orders are placed at the counter and they deliver to your seat. Most of our group had the New England Clam Chowder and raved that it was the best they have ever tasted. I had the grilled shrimp... More

Solid spot for either breakfast or lunch. Not the most comfortable seating. Walk up counter. Been here a few times. Nothing outrageous, nothing standout. Wishing I could remember what we ate that was memorable....can't :(

Love the bread bowl filled with clam chowder. Reasonably priced at $7.75 per bowl. Sourdough bread top is toasted. Wish the whole bowl was toasted. Very filling for 2 people. Located right next to Barns + Nobel in downtown SLO.

We visited for lunch based on the good reviews. While the reviews indicate the chowder is great, it was a hot day so we tried other options. The fish & chips were average at best -- not at all at the level I expected from a place touting its seafood. The turkey sandwich was fine. The kids only ate half... More

We read some pretty positive reviews on TA so thought we would have a nice breakfast here. The ordering is odd; you queue up on one side of the counter without any visibility to the bakery case, so everyone takes turns scooting over and checking it out while someone holds your place in line... very odd. The weird arrangement continues... More

When you go here you must get the clam chowder in a bread bowl with the works. They add bacon, clams, scallions, cheese and don't remember what else but it was fantastic
