My family and I spent almost a decade living in New England, so I know good chowdah when I taste it and this was some of the best I have ever tasted! Do yourself a favor, get it in the bread bowl even if you...don’t plan to eat the bowl - the crispy toasted top they serve it with is delicious and perfect for dipping.More

Sorry but this place is way over-rated IMHO. Fish and chips was over-cooked. Tough as cardboard boxes. Steamed clams used frozen clams. And the sauce left a weird after taste (an over-dose of MSG?). Its 'famous' clam chowder was okay but curb your expectations. It...was a very unpleasant meal with very unpleasant after-taste.More

Very good baked goods. The clam chowder is excellent. The cod filet sandwich was very good. My wife had the grilled cheese and fries, which she enjoyed. Worth a return trip.

After a long flight and looking for a quick bite to eat, we stopped at Splash Cafe. It was a recommendation from the front desk at our hotel. I order the advertised special, Ahi Tuna sandwich. The presentation was simple, but delicious. My husband ordered...the grilled cheese and ham. It was also tasty. The staff was friendly.More

To be fair, this was my first bad encounter with this place. A lot can be contributed to Covid. However, i did get food poisoning from my loaded sour dough clam chowder bowl. Since my friend got the chowder as well it wasnt the soup....Had to have been the side of extra seafood. Had a fever and chills for the following two day among other symptoms i wont go into. The food also came to use very cold. Again, with the covid set up this was likely the reason. However, be weary of any extra sides of shellfish and crab. Not good. Ill return of course, but this last time definitely put me off chowder here or any other place.More

5 stars for the clam chowder bread bowl. DELISH! 3 stars for the lackluster beer selection. No craft beer other Firestone DB and 805. Very blah. Inside seating was closed due to Covid but we found a nice spot on the dog friendly patio. There...were a lot of people picking up take out.More

The reviews are true. This is a great place for the best chowder I have ever tasted. Highly recommended.

We stopped by on our 8 day motorcycle trip through Central Cali. We had delicious breakfast of omelette and scrambled eggs. Then we topped it off with a chocolate croissant. The place was very clean and the staff was friendly.

The thick, rich, and creamy clam chowder is full of clams, tender potatoes and has a rich, buttery smooth taste that is fabulous! I got the half blast sandwich on grilled sourdough bread and a cup of clam chowder- perfect in every way. The lemon...bar is good - recommend eating cold. It has a tangy lemon flavor and good crust. Recommend. The price of $2.50 for a large square was a little pricey.More
