Service was only so-so. Not much bang for your buck. Food was okay, nothing to write home about. Didn't go for the drinks.

The is the best, hands down, sports pub in the area. The food is delicious and substantial. Everything I have ever ordered has been delicious. Their fries are made from the entire potato and are delicious. They have a huge selection of taps and on top of it all, the prices are very reasonable. The servers are friendly and efficient.... My daughter, her boyfriend, and I went to the Englander on a Monday evening for a meal. It was NOT a crowded evening and I had already read the reviews for the staff being slow but none the less we proceded to give it a try. Our waitress greeted our table promptly and took our drink orders. She returned quickly... More

The food is not that great and it is expensive for what you get. But if you are into watching multiple sports games with the local games highlighted on the big screens then this a good place to go. Located downtown San Leandro and in the heart of the Farmer's Market on Wednesday nights. Can be a bit of a... More

I had to celebrate a special occasion from work and steph curry was having his mvp press conference, so I stop by for a margarita. The wings were awesome but the margarita was ok. I was going to give a big rating but change my mind when the bartender broke a glass in front of me. He didn't ask me... More

I ordered the fish and chips and requested the fries made extra crispy. Overall, I was impressed. The fish was crispy although a bit oily. The fries were tasty and fresh. Service was relatively fast and with a smile. I am not a sports fan, but if you are this is a fantastic place to grab some reasonably priced food... More

This is a great place for sports and beers. We came here for some 'comfort food' in San Leandro. Food was tasty and all orders were filled promptly and efficiently. I like my French fries hot, warm will do but room temp needs to be pointed out. We also prefer not having to ask for the 'bill'. It's always nicer... More

They have a nice environment and good selection of beers (in fact, really good!) but the food is not their strongest segment. They also have a selection of burgers and appetizers, but few veg options. If you like beers and watch a good game in a crowded environment this is your place. They charges 20% more if you have a...
