Huge portions and always a wait to get a table. Do not recommend going with a large group as they just do not have the space to accommodate. Staple breakfast food and HUGE portions.

In our travel in California we tried many tipical american breakfast, and we are sure we can say this was the best, also for the ratio quality/price.

This is a nice family run establishment with a simple, no frills menu. It's pretty tiny, so during peak breakfast and lunch hours, it can be difficult to get a seat. If you're just looking for a decent, basic breakfast, this is a good spot.

A small old "hole in the wall" but worth going out of the way for. The many sausages were absolutely delicious as were the hash browns. The owner and waitress were very nice and welcoming.

I love finding little local hole in the wall restaurants. They usually have great character and owners who love what they do. Fifth Wheel was no exception. We went there for breakfast on a Saturday morning. They are a small place with limited seating but the wait was less than 20 minutes. We ate at the counter, which I really... More

Flew into Oakland Airport in the AM and ready for breakfast. Searched for local restuarants near my destination and found the Fifth Wheel with 4 out of 5 star rating. The diner is beyond rustic, it needs rehab. The service is ok. Coffee arrived quickly… I like that. I ordered sunny side eggs, french toast, no bacon and a side... More

We had breakfast at Fifth Wheel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food ample, but nothing really special. My chicken-apple sausage and cheese omelette seemed to have a pool of melted Velveeta in the middle of it. I asked the to add mushrooms to the omelette for extra cost, but they said they were out of mushrooms. The pancakes... More

You just gotta love this tiny hole-in-the-wall truck-stop style diner. Great breakfasts for the hungry for everything crowd. Family run and 10 times better ambience than Denny's!!

Came here for break fast one time, and it's one of those hole in the wall typa places. If I passed by I wouldnt even really notice it being there. But good thing a friend told me about it and wow breakfast is awesome! Good portions, and very homely like environment. I noticed that everybody that came through the door... More

This is a family run hole in the wall. 4 tables and a counter that has 12 stools ensures a wait on the weekends. Pancakes, large, thick strips of bacon, linguisa, hash brown's. Everything is cooked to order. 3 large pancakes, 2 eggs, 4 pieces of bacon cost about $7.50. One of my favorite spots!
