The cedar plank salmon was overcooked, and its so-called miso glaze was a brown sweet liquid that drowned the watery, unseasoned mashed potatoes. The boiled vegetables—Brussels sprouts, carrots, beans—were also unseasoned. The din from the kitchen—clattering dishes and laughter—was irritating.

We always have an amazing meal here, no matter what we order! The short ribs, the turkey with strawberries & brie sandwich, the chicken salad in a pineapple, and almost everything else we've tried is DELICIOUS! And the Holiday Lush dessert is to die for!...I love their house margarita, which comes in a martini glass and decanter in a chilled bucket. Never fails to please! Make a reservation, this restaurant is super popular. You can eat outside on the patio in nice weather, too!More

Consistent and welcoming, this is a wonder restaurant in a great location. The staff are super! A broad menu; however, no vegan options are stated in the menu. Beautiful outside dining, and a full bar.

Excellent patio dining experience. We’ve always enjoyed this restaurant, but this was our first visit since the pandemic began. With improved weather their patio was a welcomed experience. It was a great food and their efficient service made it even better.

The epitome of a SoCal dining experience! Fantastic lunch fare, attentive staff, and an amazing patio dining area. The pineapple mojito & BLTA are awesome & the bread pudding is like grandma used to make. Our server, Jordan was a real sweetheart!

This is the best place we've dined outdoor since covid. The courtyard was sectioned off well, had good heaters, and was very pretty. The service was great and they had a guitar player providing music. The food was all excellent. Most of us had steak....It's expensive.More

Right across from the mission, they have a great location. The food was good. I had the Monte Cristo, my wife the salad, & my son had fish & chips. The fish was not quite cooked & service a little slow but they were busy....My wife & my lunch was good.More

Have heard nothing but great things about this place prior to actually going and was not disappointed! Very much enjoyed my crab cakes benedict. My dining companions ahi sandwiches and tuna melts all looked amazing as well. Service was quite good. Will be back!

great outdoor dining (because the state requires it right now) service could have been better, I had to ask for water several times. But the food was spot on - had the rack of lamb and the portion was large enough for dinner the next...day as well. Live music on a Friday night made it a relaxing evening I'd love to repeat.More

We spent a morning looking around this interesting historic town, most bars and restaurants near the Amtrak station seemed a bit pricey and crowded. So glad we wandered up the hill and came across this place tucked away behind the olive shop. The bar is...ideal for a quick drink , we also enjoyed a plate of calamari and 2 espressos. Service was cheerful and efficientMore

This restaurant has a great patio and comfortable seating inside too. The food is very good with large portions but a little pricey for everyday eating. Can't go wrong with any of their specials.

Cedar Creek Inn is a beautiful restaurant for a luncheon or dinner. We always sit out on the patio where the sounds of a waterfall are heard in the background. We LOVE the food --- the papaya salad and the Monte Cristo sandwich are exceptional!...This is a good place for a casual lunch or a special occasion celebration. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and very efficient. It is across the street from the San Juan Capistrano mission - but we most often go there just for the amazing meal and great setting.More
