I’ve ate Thai all across the country. This is by far the best I’ve had. The Famous Yellow (chicken curry) and the Perfect Harmony (peanut butter sauce over chicken) were both my favorite I’ve ever had!!! I’ll order spicier next time because I’m crazy like that. But I’ll be back.

Fresh, delicious food. Great service. I was thrilled to see the same menu as the old Thai This in Dana Point -- I missed that menu! As an appetizer I ordered the Golden Thaiangle / Sam Lium (fried flour Thaitillas stuffed with minced fish, shrimp, avocado, cilantro and green onion) -- these were delicious but a little too well done for my tastes (but I ate them up!). These appetizers also are served with a peanut, cucumber sweet and sour sauce which is absolutely delicious. For my main course I had the Road Runner / Kai Himapan which is chicken and cashews -- lots and lots of cashews. It was PERFECT.

I ate lunch at this place today. The food was wonderful. Price was reasonable for the huge portion I was served. I even got a soup and a salad include with my entree. Service was good and fast. Will definitely go back.

This restaurant seemed to be very popular, and gets good reviews, and the portions are generous, and the taste is not bad. But it seemed to me very different from the Thai food that I usually have, both in taste, and to presentation, and even on the menu, which looked somehow like a fusion of some other Asian cuisine with Thai cooking.

I'm a regular here. I love Thai food, and I just recently moved from LA where the Thai food wasn't great. I was pleasantly surprised at how authentic this place is. I've had a range of things on the menu, but the Green Jungle (green curry) is to die for. While I come for both lunch and dinner, I prefer lunch because of the lunch special with salad, soup, crispy wonton, and your main dish. It's a great price for the amount of food too. The wait staff here are all super friendly. You may wait a little bit at the front door for a table as no one seems to be at the host desk, but it's a small price to pay for good food. At dinner, the service can be very slow but lunch is usually very fast. I never get sick of this place!

Bad service can make the best food taste bad. This boyish lunch server had an attitude from the start. Checking the time to see that there was a half hour before they closed for lunch the attitude was less than hospitable.
Rudeness just doesn't cut it and this curt non welcoming individual should leave the service industry.
Food was fair ( Jungle Green Curry ) but with overcooked mushy zuccini and green beans that fell apart it wasn't one of the better dishes Ive had. The coconut curry sauce is unbeatable and while the lunch price of $10 was reasonable ( $25 with iced tea and a dumpling appetizer ) the service brought the experience to a no return decision.
While its true that the location in a strip mall next to discount clothing store Marshall's and flanked by a pottery painting place isn't ideal it is the poor service that brought this rating down.
With so many other better places ( Thai Dara in Dana Point on PCH ) I cant see why someone would come here twice.
With the service I received and 25 years dining in the area be assured a positive word for people asking where to go dine wont be wasted on this place.

My mom live in Capo Beach and when I come down to see her she always wanted to go here for lunch.
All the lunch items are super good. Very fresh and flavorful, they all come with soup and salad with 2 very crispy filled wantons. This is the best lunch deal in the area most items are 10-12 dollars
They also have Taco Tuesday and my mom says they are really good
Service is very friendly, they told us they reopened in Dana Point it’s call, Thai This, so we will be trying that soon

This place used to be nice, then got spotty.
A few weeks ago, we showed up at around 6pm just wanting to get a take-out order and go home. Nobody was paying attention to the door and there was one table in use in the restaurant. Went to the bar where there was one patron and one employee who was drinking a beer. Asked to place a takeout order, and the employee put down her beer and curtly tossed us some menus and picked up her beer and walked away.
At that point, we decided that we really didn't want to disturb the staff and we left.

We go here all the time, so just writing again to say what a great restaurant it is. The menu is funny and written with silly names, but the thing I love is that they have many items to choose from with clearly marked gluten free items. The bad news is that they changed their yellow curry paste and also the crying tiger (steak with lime sauce), which I loved...the new seasonings do have gluten in them, but they have changed the menu to reflect these changes. My favorites are the pad thai, the green jungle (with shrimp or chicken) and the beef panang. Done perfectly, good service and atmosphere and a bar and drinks and occasionally music on the weekend. We go for dinner and lunch and take out food, but this review is on lunch.

The lunch menu is very reasonable - salad, soup, cheese wontons as well as rice and entree. Generous portions. Red Devil was very tasty but a little salty. Green Jungle is the one to go for - great balance of flavors with a low spicy heat. We’ll be back for sure - maybe this same trip!

The menu is funny and the food is terrific. Favorites include the lunch specials which come with salad and soup and your choice of many entrees. Highly recommend all of the curries, especially the yellow curry if you can tolerate gluten. I can't so I always eat the green curry or the red. They understand celiac, as a member of their family had it when we asked, so GF items are highlighted on the menu. My favorite is the coconut milk soup, with a curry. My husband really likes the minty pork and the spring rolls. I'm writing that I was there in September, but truth we told, I am there twice a week...been doing it for years!
