1st the food taste was good. but the groupon deal does not have the $123 value when I add up what I see on thier regular online menu $97-109 , so when I complianed they simple falsely raised the groupon menu price to make it look good. hey if your gonna offer a discount then at least make it honest

The restaurant is a few old Pullman cars pulled together so upon entering it is musty and dark...but it is part of the ambience. The service was friendly but a bit lacking (empty wine glasses never picked up when waiter came by) BUT the food was great! We shared the Pernod Scampi appetizer...the sauce was excellent! Shrimp sauteed with Pernod,... More

I had a filet and my wife had lobster to celebrate our anniversary. The shrimp appetizer is highly recommended and could be your entree for a light meal.

While the concept is cool and perfect for the locale, the Vintage Steak House should modernize their menu. There was nothing that 'jumped' off the menu stating try me!!!! I settled on the NY Strip - a generous portion cooked over slow mesquite flames. Unfortunately, my medium rare request came out medium well and was dry and uninspiring. Our waiter brought... More

The good news is that the manager comped our meal...The bad news is that the steak was ordered medium and came very rare. When returned it was still rare but charred on the outside. Then, they took it back and brought out the same steak! Still undercooked but this time with a very dark crust. Needless to say we did... More

My husband & I ate here a couple of years ago and it was great, but this time it was very disappointing. We thought it would be fun to take my mother-in-law there because she loves trains. The setting is charming, but we were the only people in there and the service was pathetically slow and the food was just... More

The steak was decent. Service was mixed: parts were really good but details were not paid attention to. Loved the idea of vintage trains but it smelled like an old train.

My wife and I had dinner here about 10 days ago. e each had the top sirloin steak and both of us were very happy with how it was prepared. The Caesar salad was excellent. Drinks good value and the wine with dinner was nice. I had a special creme brûlée that was killer!

I might have been more pleased if the service had not been so lax and inattentive. Our food was quite good, with my wife and sister in law having the Montecristo sandwich and I the grilled chicken. Our waiter did arrange for my sandwich to be wrapped in lettuce and veggies in place of fries to keep healthier. All of... More

After reading the reviews we asked to sit in the dining car rather than the main dining room. Good choice. What we did not know is that there are two sets of tables in the dining car--one faces the street, and the other faces the dining room. The particular table we were given actually faced the hallway to the dining... More
